Finally, too many people turned on Superman awfully fast. Well, I could accept most of the stupid public, but Emil Hamilton? It makes no sense that he would refuse to treat Supergirl. He should trust Superman entirely after he spent most of the series saving his life!
(And why didn't they believe Superman anyway about Darkseid's mind control? Where do they think that he got the Parademon army from?)
It was far too short for what they were trying to accomplish, thus they needed to make too many cuts to the story's content.

Woudn't have made sense for the writers to have used the Rogue Superman along with Batman's files on other heroes to launch the JLA origin. Bats would be able to indirectly control some of the greatest power in the DC universe and Supes would regain the trust of the public by working with a team.
I think such an approach would have allowed more loose threads to be tied up. What do you guys think??
