Set your VCRs, cause "Paradise Lost" is set to air on January 21st, at 9:30 PM ET.
The episode will rerun on Saturday, February 2nd at 12:30 PM(that's the afternoon), and Sunday, Feb. 3rd at 8:30 PM.
(of course, your VCR would be waiting for quite a while, since it's a month off. But I thought I'd let you folks know.)

Really? That's like two weeks early...and out of order.

Well, as I mentioned in an earlier post..
There's production order and the originally intended order.
I'm sure Timm wants something else to air before Paradise Lost, but this just happens to be the first episode CN programming has gotten a hold of, so they'll run it first.
The Saturday Morning episodes of Justice League will be arranged in the originally intended order(once enough episodes are completed for them to do that).

According to the schedule that Bruce gave me awhile back, Injustice For All was supposed to air after the last episode. That sorta bites - I'd want to see that Batman episode before the Wonder Woman episode. A chance to see Lex Luthor and Joker again is great...but now we gotta wait a bit longer.

What is the originally intended order, Dick Grayson?
This news is...unsettling. I've been taping both full and widescreen versions of the show (don't ask me why), but now it looks like I'll have to actually choose.

That's the production order, Mr. Obsession. I meant the intended order that Dick Grayson and Matt Wilson were referring to. Thanks anyway, though.

Y'know what, though? It kinda make sense to see WW's episode first. With "In Blackest Night" and "The Enemy Below" the creative team was able to air two episodes that may have answered a couple of questions with many fans. Mainly "Why are they using John Stewart as GL?" and "Why isn't Aquaman a regular?"
An episode focusing on WW provides viewers with a clearer take on a character from DC's "Big Three" that we haven't had much exposure to yet. It almost seems like Timm and Co. are trying to address some of the bigger "fan" issues as fast as possible. Batman's my favorite, too, but I can imagine why it's not that important to get to his spotlight episode on right away.
And storywise, I think that it would make more sense for a longer measure of time to to have passed before Luthor would have the idea and the resources to assemble his own version of an "anti-League." Heck, when would Wonder Woman even have had the time to establish her own arch-enemy like the Cheetah? (I guess during IBN when she was "...on another case.")

Good point. I thought that the episode was listed too early as well.

Well, it kinda sucks that Batman's spotlight isn't airing first, but hey, at least we're getting some new episodes earlier than anticipated, so what's there to complain about?! :)
See ya!

February is sweeps month. I'm sure at some point in the month we'll see Injustice For All . I bet you that's how CN is thinking.

YESS!! When I heard about this, I completely flipped out! I'm glad it's WW's episode. There definately needs to be some more delving into her character.I agree with the others who said "Injustice For All"would have been too soon. How can we get to know more about the villians when we don't know about all of the heroes? I wonder why CN changed their minds about waiting until February. I guess even they knew that was too long.

all i know is injustice for all will probably air soon after paridise lost, and i cant wait for it. thats like gonna have everything i've been waiting for this in this series. batmans my favorite, so a batman highlight eps kicks, and itll have joker and luthor, and probably mention some post legacy issues, and just be more connected to the previous series. so i ts gonna kick *****$$$$$$$. plus lot of cool new villian! peace!!!!

The reason Batman is so many people's favorite is because that is what has been shown regularly for the past 8 years, BTAS. It's familiarity.
Personally, I think Bats (& Supes) should take a lesser role in the early part of the series so we get to know the other players. Do they need a spotlight episode ? Yes. Not everyone watching this saw BTAS and STAS. But they are better known than the rest.
Personally I think it makes sense to deal with the "Who is John Stewart" and "Where is Aquaman" as someone said above. I also think we need "Why Hawkgirl" and "Why Wonder Woman". J'onn was covered in Secret Origins.
I'd also have preferred if Batman's spotlight was NOT the Injustice League, letting that show focus on the villains.

Not completely. While most of us are Batman fans, some viewers haven't seen a single episode of BTAS and STAS - so it's only logical we get a Batman focused episode for all the new viewers. Not all the JL viewers have watched BTAS or STAS so JL has to sort of introduce them to the new viewers, which is why they shouldn't take the back seat.
Besides, Batman is the ideal choice for the Injustice Gang episode becuase the focus will be heavily on Joker, Batman, and Lex. It makes sense to have him be the focus and not another leaguer. Having the episode focus on all of the injustie gang would be a daunting task. Putting Joker, Lex, and Batman in the forefront is the right way to go.

Besides, just imagine the kind of balancing act the creators are having to take to please everyone. Of course there are plenty of episodes focusing on the "new" leaguers, but if they didn't throw in a Batman or Superman-centric episode the fans would cry bloody murder.
Myself, I think that if all the leaguers get their moments in the sun in reasonably equal doses, then all is fair.

Good point! It's hard to work on a show with such an extensive list of main characters, as well as the guest appearances, villians, etc...it's very taxing. Sure - making the show two parts helps, but doesn't solve everything. All the Leaguers will get their moment in the sun...
