My Analysis/B.S. Commentary
Okay, what did Sharon whisper into Adama's ear when he got chest pains after trying to kill her? Because my TV wasn't cranked up to 11 like a Spinal Tap speaker, and I couldn't hear it.

I had a feeling Sharon was going to save Adama's life rather than actually kill him. I was surprised that she put the gun back on him and told her what was happening, though. That was a nice touch.

Six told Baltar there was no chip in his head, and that she was just his self-conscious making him go insane. So he gets his brain scanned, and sure enough, there's no chip. So is Baltar just insane? No. Because the Six in his head told him something that would happen in the future that he couldn't have possibly imagined. Then Six tells him that she's really an angel of God sent to guide him. This would probably go well with some of the theories I've been reading since last Spring that Six might be a Goddess taking Six's visual form.

I hadn't realized Billy and Roslin had made that much of a bond. It was nice seeing them reunite. I'm also glad Billy didn't die on the planet, as I had feared.

Well well well. Look who's restored the status quo. And I mean they restored it completely. Roslin is President, Baltar is being fully manipulated by Six (who I shall now dub Angel-Six), Apollo is back in the military, Tigh's back on the bottle (like he was off of it for more than 2 episodes, anyway), and there's a Sharon back in the fleet.

I wonder how they're going to fill their full-hour episodes without cutting between Galactica and Caprica, now. :p

I think it was "You asked why"

So Baltar's baby isn't his at all. Interesting...

Howdy,

Easily the funniest moment in the episode is when Tricia Helfer shows that she has some real, solid talent behind that a pretty face and killer body when she "does" Starbuck in the brig cell. My wife and I had to rewind when she switches into that gawky giggle and the particular halting speech pattern because we were laughing so hard.

I also saw Formerly from Caprica Boomer shooting Zarek's flunky guy from a mile off due to the "because you want me to think that" rule, which is the rule that if you're getting all the clues pointing towards one event happening, it is almost guaranteed that this will not be what actually happens. This is a good way to tell what's coming in shows like 24, too. There really ought to be a better name for that.

But yes, it is quite amazing how they managed to so completely restore the status quo, down to the cast lineup. One Boomer shot? No big -- here's another one. Adama leads a coup, leading to a small revolution? Sorry about all that, have a standing ovation.

Also very curious to see what happens with respect to the survivors on Caprica.

I was amazed by that, too. I actually had to stop, move in closer to the TV, and check to see if Tricia had been replaced by Katee Sackhoff (Starbuck).

Then I read on another message board that the straight haired ponytail, sweat clothes, and general personality were that of Tricia Helfer's. The gag was supposed to be that Tricia had stopped acting, and was being herself.

So it begs the question: is Tricia Helfer exactly like Starbuck in real life?

Well, I'm pretty sure Helfer isn't a hotshot pilot, a killer pyramid player, or a crack shot with a rifle, but never say never, eh? :).

From all reports, Jeri Ryan had a similar personality flip when she was 7 of 9 on Star Trek: Voyager. Interviews with her were pretty amusing, since she comes off as freewheeling and goofy rather than as the cold, ice-maiden she did as 7.
