Oh no. I just hope they didn't give out your address.
I have no advice, since I don't know how to deal with them. But all I can say is that your friends were so stupid to mess with the gangsters online with your screenname. Well, even though they were drunk.
Wait...how did they found out that you live near them?

E-Mail the gangster and tell them it wasn't you and name names. You may not get a standing ovation at the Oscars but that's a small price to pay.
By the way, have the gangsters actually threatened you? I mean, how do you know it's not just a couple of kids pulling a prank? Does the Mafia have it's own website?

Sorry, city, your use of the word "gangster" is making this situation hard to take seriously, and Knux isn't helping any.
I'm going to have to agree with Fone, though. Are you sure the gangsters want you dead? I wouldn't take further action and hope it all blows over, but if you are confronted (in person that is), just tell them the truth about it.
And...uh...try not to go out by yourself for a while...

Ouch. I also find it painful to get framed on the internet or some chat board. I'm not sure, but they could really be gangsters. It might be best to get the hell outta dodge.

i didn't think the mafia used internet access...Why wouldn't they? Of course, they more likely use a encrypted, secure private connection.
You gotta admit this is the most interesting post the Cafe has had in months.

Gangsters chat online?? When you say your cousin talked "dirty," do you mean he was offering back rubs?

If they outright threatened you (stating physical injury), it is against the law, and you can take a printout of the threat to the poice. If they just sent you a pissed message, take Fone's advice.

Do you mean gangsters or gangbangers?
-Terminatahwhats the difference?
the good news is that they dont know where i live. the bad news is that my best friend knows thiese people so of course there real gangsters. i E-mailed one of them but diddnt get anything back. i told my cousins and his friends about it and they replied with
"your taking this seriously?"
my best friends also tell me that they "role strapped"(A.K.A carry guns with them) of course now im even scared to leave my room. (im loosing weight though) my mom doesnt know (good thing too) and the only person that can help me is also thinking the idea's funny. my friend also told me that the girls in his gang are crazy.
Gangsters chat online?? When you say your cousin talked "dirty," do you mean he was offering back rubs?lol, i mean he told them words like the "F" word and the "N" bomb. very very nasty things.
it's just the internet, don't believe everything you see and/or hear on it.that was the internet. this is irl
If they outright threatened you (stating physical injury), it is against the law, and you can take a printout of the threat to the poice. If they just sent you a pissed message, take Fone's advice. i dont think they will care of the law hears about this. they will just get more pissed

i already did that. i dont want to get my cousin and his idiot friends hurt. even though they do deserve it.
By the way, have the gangsters actually threatened you? they said i was going to get my a** kicked. knowing how gangsters are this isnt going to end well
Does the Mafia have it's own website? no.

whats the difference? Well, one is organized and when a hit is put on a person it's all over and the other does a lot of trash talk that they don't always mean.
why do you say that? It's a joke, son.
i already did that. i dont want to get my cousin and his idiot friends hurt. even though they do deserve it. Funny how your cousins had absolutely no problem with potentially putting a hit on you. You still think they are worth protecting? Seriously, name names.
they said i was going to get my a** kicked. knowing how gangsters are this isnt going to end well This is also significant. I was under the mistaken impression that these "gansters" were going to kill you. An ass-whomping isn't too bad but I'd honestly prefer it if your cousins and his idiot friends got it.
No. Well, that's a relief. I'm betting they circulate flyers.

Why don't you just call the police?
Yeah, call the cops. Tell them what happened.
I don't figure it's gansters so much as thugs.

Why don't you just call the police?
calling the police wount be doing much help. thiese gangsters/gangbangers stick up for one another. (stated by my friend) so if i call the cops things will get worse
EDIT: Fone Bone. i just finished checking. the mafia does have its own website http://www.americanmafia.com/Links_Page.html i was mistaken

Oh, so your my 2 o'clock?
Alright just FYI, I do not pay cleaning bills, so if you don't want that carpet stained stand over a hardwood or tile floor...
Seriously though, it's the internet....unless ofcourse your screen name is your real name and you provided an addiquate home address and phone number to these people...then you have really nothing to worry about...

That's some scary business.
If avoiding these gangsters requires you to dress like a woman to catch a train out of town, make sure you try the clothes on before you buy. Don't just go by dress size if you want a good fit.
But seriously, if these guys are some sort of jerks in real life don't give them power by playing into their gangster fantasies.

But seriously, if these guys are some sort of jerks in real life don't give them power by playing into their gangster fantasies. Unless you frequent places gangstas/gangsters (there is a difference between talk and actual history) hang out, I wouldn't worry. The logistics of finding a single target in a neighborhood they aren't familiar with is complicated. People can do some very bizare things on the spur of the moment, but planning and executing a threat is beyond most. The police will not take this serious beyond taking a statement. Get an actual verbal or paper written threat that can be linked to an actual person, and they can take some action.
Best defense if actually cnofronted,,, run. even if you aren't fast, it will usually work. If they do shoot at you,,, zigzag, they may be bad shots.

ROFL, you've tried this and found it to be a problem have you? That's none of your business! :(
Would you suggest subdued colors? For someone on the run, yes. It's best not to stand out. But it's also a rare opportunity to break out and it would be a shame to waste it. Let yourself have fun when it comes to shoes and accessories.

Most of these suggestions are terrible, just find out who and where they are and report them to police. Request to keep your identity anonymous.

It's pathetic because you're actually taking something like this seriously.
oh and if your little dilemma holds true then shouldn't you be "in trouble" in some way, shape, or form with the so called "gangsters" by now?
