Hello all, and welcome to our new comics baord. Why do we have a comics board, you ask? There are several reasons. 1) The Toon Zone comics page now features the complete DC solicitations each month. 2) Our News page features a lot of comics news every day. And 3) Because there are a whole lot of comic fans here!

On this board you can talk about any and all comics. DC, Marvel, Image, Dark Horse, Crossgen... it's all on topic. You can even talk about the animated comics, although discussion of those is best done on the baord for their respective shows.

Well, that's all I have to say. Perhaps one of the other moderators, like Dick Grayson or Calhoun07, would like to add something else. Otherwise, enjoy the new board!

I'm not really sure what to add here, but I just want to welcome everyone to the Comic board. I've been a comic fan for quite a long time. While I've mostly been a DC and Marvel guy, I've ventured out into "indie" territory once or twice in my life, finding great reads at Oni Press for example. This board is for all of that! Want to talk about how much you dislike Marvel's Cable series? Post here. Eagerly anticipating DC's The Power Company? Post about that here. Still reading Spawn? Then -- that's right -- post here. I'm really excited about the potential of this site and can't wait to see this board kick into high gear!

I just wanted to clock in and say hey to you all! I don't have much to add that Dick and Brian didn't already say! I think this board is going to be great! It's been a long time since I've seen a worthwhile comic book message board on the net! Man, Toon Zone is becoming the one stop site for all your message board needs!
