another silly question

i'm new here and i want to know how do you log out when i press the log out a new page comes up and it says an error came up.then i press the log out button under the message and then it says all cookies cleared! i click the link it gave me then i return to the forum page still loged in. what do i do?

this has been a problem lately with pretty much everybody, including myself. in order to log out so nobody else can use your account you need to delete your cookies

tools-->internet options...-->delete cookies...-->ok
