The major weakness of the Superfriends and the Legion of Doom is that they have the intelligence of a 3 year old. Well, maybe 4 for Batman.

Ok, that's a really good list, but was it a necessary post to bump up a 4 year old topic?

Yes, the Wonder Twins' powers were more formidable in the Super Friends comic books, and later in the Extreme Justice comics; Zan could transform into things like ice golems, water monsters and demonic whirlpools, while Jayna could transform into fantasy creatures like dragons, werewolves and unicorns.

Eh, no not necessary. I was just doing a general Superfriends search to see if somebody had already answered a seperate question I wanted to post, while doing that I just came across this thread - which looked interesting and fun to reply to, so I did.
I didn't even look at the date. Sorry, are older threads off limits?

I think this was already being hinted at in the Legendary Superpowers show, where Zan becomes a transition type Ice humanoid creatures, not just static objects or a puddle with a face anymore:p . And Jayna was definately doing more imaginary beings or Exxorian creatures on the show. Dragons, Yeties etc.

Zan did turn into a Water Beast impersonation in the Water Beast episode.

Other fun "facts":

Apache Chief
+ Actually grows to a height of 50 feet -- except in that "Collossus" episode where he just repeats "Inyuk-chuk" over and over again...

Aquaman
+ Has an Aquascooter
+ Has an underwater AquaSeaLab

Atom
+ Can emit "atomic vibrations" which was only good for scrambling a bat's radar.
+ Can fly using some kind of "atomic propulsion" (the trail of "atomic symbols" shooting from his feet)

Batman
- Supposedly helpless if his utility belt is removed or rendered inert (same with Robin)
+ Can solve Riddler's clues instantly in his head.
- Won't act on it until he verbally coaches Robin to solve them himself.

Black Vulcan
+ Loved to shout his own name (curbed his enthusiasm from his second appearance on).
+ Morphing costume (V-neck and leggings)

Cyborg
+ Sound blaster
+ Computer interfacer -- even capable of interfacing with other-worldly tech
+ Enhanced cybernetics give him superstrength, ability to leap great heights/distances
+ Computer eye that can detect energy fields
+ Enhanced hearing (Used in "Seeds of Doom" and "The Death of Superman")
+ Can beat a robot at chess ("Brainchild")

El Dorado
+ Teleportation requires fancy "Ole" cape move
+ Superstrength (he lifted a gold Superman and Wonder Woman in "The Alien Mummy")

Firestorm
+ Can phase through solid objects
+ "Tiffany lamp" hairstyle is really supposed to resemble fire (production shortcut)
+ Can tap PhD-level knowledge in physics (through Professor Stein)
+ Ron Raymond has a telepathic link with the Professor (stated in "The Island of the Dinosoids"), may actually be used when...
+ Ron Raymond can teleport Professor Stein to his location to form Firestorm ("Seeds of Doom" and "Brainchild")

Green Lantern
+ Has a third arm (production error in "The Time Trap")
+ Can create and affect yellow objects (also due to production errors)
- Power ring needs to be recharged at regular intervals (24 hours, though never stated on the show EDIT: Actually was stated as a "24-hour charge" in "The Time Trap")

Hawkman
+ Can fly through space without oxygen and protective gear.

Gleek
+ MacGuyver-like aeronautic engineering skills (building a [somewhat] working plane from the Justice League Junkpile)

Plastic Man
+ Stretchy arm (and that's all we've seen on the show)
+ Can change shape (on SF model sheets)

Samurai
+ Actually used a sword on the show to cut through bonds (can't recall if it was flaming or not)

Superman
+ Super sense of smell ("The Baffles Puzzle")
+ Can go into a "Kryptonian trance" to prolong endurance against kryptonite poisoning ("The Death of Superman")
- Susceptible to magic (usually for a certain M. Mxyzptlk)

Wonder Woman
+ Throwing tiara (used once in "The Wrath of Brainiac")
+ Telepathy (used once in "The Alien Mummy")
+ Can fly through space with oxygen helmet but without protective gear
+ Unmussable hair (actually, that applies to everyone)
+ Enjoyable husky voice (when portrayed by Shannon Farnon)

Zan
+ Turned into an ice giant once... ("The Demons of Exxor")
- ... which was melted in less than 10 seconds
+ Can perform multiple transformations with one power activation (Jayna too)
+ Wonder Twin Power activation also negates mind control ("Pied Piper of Space")
- Needs to deactivate power to return to normal.

Going back to Hockey Mask's original post, there's no way you can dismiss the comics as non-canonical.

While the shows of the era weren't my cuop of tea, I do have a weakness for the tansofrming, midnblowing power activate, which originated in "Bell Book and Candle" and was used in UPA shorts, and then elsewher.e."Kung fu Panda" seemed to use a few variants..the slide guitar, electric speeded pinao, and then first a single long chime later in the 1960s a jingle. the 1960 UPA Dick Tracys & Magoos, even a Sugar Bear episode on a site I won't identify,;) "Head over Heels", used it..POWER.............ACTIVATE!!!! [insert sound FX].

Actually, in a rare use of continuity, there was one episode in the 1980 season (I'm not sure which episode), where the Atom used his scienctific knowledge of size to increase the limits of Apache Chief's growth power beyond 50 feet. Ever since that episode, Apache Chief was able to grow bigger by yelling Inyuk-chuk multiple times. The Colossus episode was during the 1981 season, he also used this ability in The Wraith of Brainiac in 1984.

I had forgotten about that "The Man in the Moon" episode -- just like the writer of the title forgot that it wasn't a "Man" at all...

Continuity... who would have thought?

Actually, there was ONE ep (that i know of) where GL's power ring worked against yellow, in "The Death of Superman", he was able to use his ring to move the key to superman's fortress of solitude, and said key was yellow (or at least gold).

No, he created a platform that allowed Wonder Woman and Cyborg to carry the key to its lock. If the key wasn't yellow, he could have used the ring to carry the key himself.
