Kingdom Come Action Figures!

Since this is a JLA board, I'm guessing Kingdom Come counts as well? Eh?

Well, here's the big new thing. DC Direct has a new project up for next year. It's very Hush Hush right now. It might be mentioned during Toy Fair...but...
Alex Ross was interviewed by ToyFare magazine. it's the latest issue, so go pick it up, & read. Basically, he stated that he was working on a BIG project with DC Direct. Sculpting some sweet new toys. He didn't say WHAT he was doing, but he left a hint
"Think about what I've done for DC, think about action figures-now imagine."
So...Kingdom Come?! What else could it be? There has already been a big fan reaction with the very mention of KC figures...DC would be stupid not to do it!

Me too. But will Hasbro let DC Direct make a Kingdom Come Batman figure? And will we get some of the new characters (Magog, Nightstar, 666, etc.)?

When ya usually click on these threads, you expect something like "Man, wouldn't it be cool if there were Kingdom Come figures?" I was pleasently surprised! Lookin' forward to it.

I don't know if they'd do the main characters from Kingdom Come, probably some of the second tier characters like Nightstar, maybe Captain Marvel. Id love a Batman though, with removeable helmet. I second the wetting of pants.

Nah, I'm thinking Uncle Sam with yellow-stained pants. Woohoo! Kingdom Come figures would be cool! Since DC Direct usually does this in threes or fours, how about Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel?

There's so many characters, I don't even know where to start. Superman and Batman are the most obvious. I wouldn't be as surprised with Supes as I would Bats, since DCD has made a Superman figure with Superboy and Supergirl on the way. Yeah, Batman with removable helmet...

Then an evil-looking Captain Marvel.

Magog...

Kid Flash...

Wonder Woman...

Lex Luthor...

Green Arrow...

Orion in "ruler of Apokolips" clothes...

And the list goes on and on...

Personally, I'd like to see, somewhere down the line, a figure of "Clark Kent", with his beard, overalls, a part of his house, and some lumber for him to carry. Just like the whole book got started.

Oooh, It'd be so cool if they released a Batman set, with Bats(removeable helmet), and maybe 2 of his "bat-droids", I forget what they called those?

Hehehe...maybe down the line, they can make a playset of the JLrestraunt? Maybe with a Wonder Woman waitress? hehehe...that'd be cool!

LOL a DCD PLAYSET? The figures cost $15 minimum, a playset would cost about $100!

Go to your nearest comic book store, ask if they have the Kingdom Come tradepaperback, and then buy it. You will not regret it. You can also get it online and MAYBE at some bookstores.
