"Challenge of the Superfriends" was the season of Superfriends that ran featuring the Legion of Doom as the primary (actually the only) villians. During the last two seasons of Superfriends (SF: The Legendary Super Powers Show & Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians), Darkseid was the most frequent advesary of the group. In those episodes he did indeed have a hang-up on WW.

The last season was really probably the best of any that came before, but there were only 8 episodes and gone were the Alex Toth inspired character designs. And it is not as fondly remembered as the "Challenge" season.

In the comic books, Darkseid did try to conquer Olympus, but he never had any romantic interest in WW that I can recall.

that's what i was gonna say...the darkseid mating with WW was from the later "super powers" episodes with cyborg and firestorm. :)
