Is there anyone in the DC universe that could beat Darkseid one on one?

Batman could use his technology against him, Id like to see Batman get stranded on Apocalypse. We already know the Atom can defeat him (JLA Rock of Ages). Green Lantern might with enough will power and ring charge. I doubt Flash could, unless vibrates his hand in his chest and rips his heart out or something, but 1) he wouldn't do that 2) Thats so sick how the heck did I think of it. The JLA together could do it, but I guess thats not one on one.

Wait a sec. Didn't Superman already beat the crap out of Darkseid on "Legacy", Part II? Sure, Superman took a beating too, and he had to earn the victory, but it was Darkseid kissing Apokoliptic dirt in the end. (It still disturbs me to see his slaves HELPING him...)

Could J'onn beat him? I would think that Darkseid would be vulnerable to telepathic attacks. In the same way, you could say that Dr. Fate or Zatanna might be able to use magic to beat him.

In the animated universe, maybe.

In the comics, however, then only some MASSIVE plot-devices can allow even Superman to fight Darkseid. Otherwise, you really need somebody on the Parallax level.

O, and the Doomsday fight got retconned.

Eh, just import some characters from DBZ....they like to fight, and tend to blow up stuff good. And if they can't do if physically, they'll bug the hell out of him, and he'll die anyway!

Please, encourage the DEBZ characters to attack Apokalips!!

That way, when Darkseid retroactively deletes them with the Omega Effect, we won't have ever been annoyed by them in the first place!! :)
