I saw that one of the "Censored 12" did make it into the marathon ("What's Cookin' Doc"). Was the Hiawatha scene trimmed at all?

It seemed like all of the trims were racial sterotypes and suicide gags. I was suprised they cut the Manhattan gag from "Rebel Rabbit" since it didn't really put Indians in a negative light.

The only other "violence" I noticed being cut was the toy gun gag from "Baby Buggy Bunny" (unless you count the "Do you still beat your wife?" cut in "Wideo Wabbit" as violence).

I wonder why those last 2 lines from "Hare Splitter" missing, and well as the dog's line at the end of "Heckling Hare," though.

>>It seemed like all of the trims were racial sterotypes and suicide gags. <<

Don't forget the still-inane snipping of the infamous "turkey farming" letter in "The Hasty Hare."

>>I was suprised they cut the Manhattan gag from "Rebel Rabbit" since it didn't really put Indians in a negative light. <<

Doesn't matter. Sadly, it seems that these days if any minority is portrayed in a cartoon it's grounds for snipping. The redubbed Mammy in the T&J cartoons can't possibly be seen as offensive, yet those cartoons still aren't shown. Ain't that a blinkin' shame?

The "Heckling Hare" snip was probably done to save time (sounds stupid, I know, but could very well be true), but the world may never know why "Hare Splitter" was edited like that. Ranks along with the aforementioned "Hasty Hare" edit as two of the dumbest edits I've ever heard of.

You left out the ending gag in "Hare Ribbin'" The dog says his "I wish I were dead!" line and Bugs says his "Do you mean it?" line and the next scene is just the dog with a flower on his chest and then he says "This shouldn't even happen to a dog." The ending made absolutely no sense without the shooting.

What about the edit to ROMAN LEIGON HARE. Now THAT made no sense.

I have been away for a few days, so I haven't had a chance to ask this question -- forgive me if someone already has.
While watching the Sunday afternoon and evening June Bugs (where 40-45 of the debuts appeared), I noticed that several cartoons ended with the disclaimer, "This Version (copywright date) Warner Bros." This leads me to think that they were edited BEFORE reaching CN (much like "Big House Bunny" with the Sam "hanging" scene removed by WB).
Do any of you recall which of these cartoons ended with that disclaimer, and if so, what scenes were edited by Warner Bros.?

All scenes I know of edited by WB:

Sam hanging in a noose, "Big House Bunny"
World War II reference, "Hasty Hare"
Horse sh*t reference, "Drip-Along Daffy"
Wife-beating references, "Wideo Wabbit"

The edits to ROMAN LEGION-HARE and HARE SPLITTER also must've been done by WB since it makes no sense why CN would edit those scenes.
