Seriously. Today marks the second time in probably a month that our hot tub was vandalized. Soap and leaves and whatever were thrown in it sometime in the middle of the night. The first time it happened, we were out of town and came back to find out gazebo open and the hot tob filled with crap that would hurt it. My dad fixed it up and got a cable lock for when we were gone. But last night we were home and woke up and suds were flowing out of our gazebo door. They must have been really quiet because my bedroom is right over the gazebo and I had the window open, but didn't hear anything. Also, our neighbors bedroom is right near there and they had their window open and they have three dogs that seem to be able to hear anything, but they didn't wake up either. This time a policeman came by and said if they caught the people, it would be a felony because it was the second time.
But anyway, what is with people? Why do they feel the need to do this kind of crap?
they probably think it's funny...but in their defense, i bet you probably have done something you found funny but someone else found it really offensive.

But anyway, what is with people? Why do they feel the need to do this kind of crap?Because unfortunately people can be dumb and think they can do whatever they want. They think whatever they do is funny, and they own the world. Those people need to be dragged back to reality, brute force if neccessary.
I've had a few run-ins with idiotic people like that. The bad part is that even though you want to beat the crap out of them until they squirm with fear, doing so will only make them do more, and going down to their level. The only good thing you can do (and that most people say) is ignore them. I've got no idea if it really works, but I mostly think it doesn't sometimes.

I'm glad i'm not a prankster like some people. I seriously don't remember the last time I have been pranked.

Naw man, just beat they ass. Let someone walk over you and they'll feel how empowering it is, and continue. I got my sneakers(Reebok Cl leather mid, limited edition) stole, found out who it was, and then confronted them about it. Don't want to return 'em? Fine, an ass-whooping is a'coming.

I've got no idea if it really works, but I mostly think it doesn't sometimes.Problem with that is they are causing property damage to the hot tub. We'll probably have to replace filiters and even a motor in it. It's hard to ignore when they are doing actual damage.
Naw man, just beat they ass.Too bad we have no idea who it was:shrug:

You could set up a video camera (hidden out of view, of course), facing the gazebo.

even being like that i can assure you you've done something that ou won't think twice about but to a person it means a lot.

People do bad things to other people mostly because they can. Why they think it's fun is beyond my understanding.

G Gorden said that was what had to be done to have a hope of keeping your property in prison.
You could set up a video camera (hidden out of view, of course), facing the gazebo. You never know when they may come back, or even if. it's most likely someone who lives close, usually is.
I know a guy who had his lawn furniture stolen, so he bought a motion camera to watch the house. He had hours and hours of squirrels and cloud shadows. He also wanted it to read the licence plates on the cars and watch the whole yard, optically impossible
Not on the level of property destruction, which this was. that is not the point, it doesn't have to be property for it to be just as important.

that is not the point, it doesn't have to be property for it to be just as important. But the situation in the first place has to do with property damage. Saying something to someone because you think it is funny is completely different than messing with their stuff because you think it is funny. Sticks and stones.

Scary mask. Black cape. Play Batman.
Actually, in all seriousness, wait up for them. Wait in your window or downstairs with the phone. Baseball bat optional. You shouldn't have to tolerate any kind of trespassing or vandalism.
See if you can't have your parents on watch as well.

Also, all those things happen in school, and I can only get away with beating the crap out of somebody for so long.

Saying something to someone because you think it is funny is completely different than messing with their stuff because you think it is funny. Sticks and stones. To me, your hypothesis would be not true if the statement was degrading or offensive. Either way, the victim gets hurt/pissed/annoyed, and the offender deserve a spanking more and more. That song we all must've sang when we were small isn't really true.

In these parts, idiotic behavior can be explained by the following equation:
Immaturity+Testosterone X Bad Genetics = XD
Booze

If the individual(s) involved had a problem, then why didn't they just talk about to her about it. Then, both sides could have walked away problem solved. You're thinking about logical rational mature people. I actually meet very few of those kind of people and have never had any problems with them. Immature narrowminded idiots are everywhere and talking to them is like SolarFlere's sig, "Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.images/smilies/tongue.gif"
....what... G. Gordan Liddy,,, served felony prison time for his part in the Watergate breakin, now has a syndicated radio talkshow, was describing while in prison, if someone steals from you, you have to beat them, otherwise everyone steals from you as an easy mark. it's also a vailed comment on the prison time you get for assault after the age of 18. The law is amasingly broad about how and for what they can charge someone for simple assault.

Under 18, still in school,,, the main problem is "zero tolerance" for fighting,,, most schools it can get you expelled. But but when you become a target, I'm afraid it has to be done at least once. ignore a challenge, and problems will get bigger. Better to deal with one than four if you can help it. But all situations are different and when hoplessly overmatched,,, run.

that is not my point though, he did do the wrong thing but before people judge them so badly they should look in themselves, as they have done just as bad.
