What are you academic strengths and weaknesses? For me,my strength is my spelling and english skills. I was the only Special Ed kid to make the spelling bee finals in my middle school. I did lose because I got distracted by so much noise, though. I kinda have some concentration problems. But I think I might make a nice writer. My weakness is math. I'm especially struggling in Algebra. I'm terrible at that and usually get C or D grades in it.

English was always my strongest area. Math was the worst. Every math class I've ever taken, with the exception of one in college, I only barely passed.

My best subject in school was Photography. I felt right at home in the dark room where I'd spend hours every day creating my pictures. My worst subject was easily Math. Even with help from my teacher at tutorials, I still didn't understand the complex problems and number equations. It got so bad that I ended up failing Math 12.

In high school, I was pretty strong in everything. The hardest subject for me was chemistry and the easiest was probably English.
In college, I am strong in most computer science and linguistics classes, but physics and circuits kicked my butt.

Strongest: English, by far; I got a 730 on the verbal portion of my SAT, for example
Weakest: Mathematics. I suck with numbers.

I'm an English and History man, but math bloody slaughters me. It's so bad that when I took my placement testing for college, I scored so low that if I had gotten one point lower I'd be forced into taking Basic Arithmatic.

Eh, I've recieved good and bad grades in everything, sometimes deserved and sometimes not. Depends on the professor and my situation at the time. How's that for a non-answer?

Best: English and Political Science (my college major and minor respectively)
Worst: I had a real hard time with Physics and Advanced Algebra/Trig. I won't say Math in general because I got really good grades in my Geometry class. I liked the pictures, it helped me visualize the problems and solutions. :)
Best: History and English
Worst: Math

Math has always been my strongest point, when I was a kid i'd always do things the long and roundabout way(I never carried numbers and always did short division instead of long and at one point I absolutely refused to add problems right to left and instead did them left to right)
English has always been my worst. It's not that I don't love reading, it's that I hate writing.

Strongest: Math
Weakest: Gym Ooooooh! I just HATE P.E.! I'm probably worse at that than math! Another subject i'm really good at is art. But only really with pencil and paper. I'm bad with paints.

I'm terrible at Math. It's not something where I can just wing it and take the tests, I really have to sit down and focus on understanding the problems to do well. I put enough effort into it where I got grades I was happy with.
The strongest subject I ever had was Spelling class, I don't think I ever got below an 80 on a quiz let alone a test. It's one subject I wish carried over into High School, and then into College :D. English class itself... the years where I had teachers that focused more on writing/analyzation, it was smooth sailing, but I never enjoyed the teachers that had you remember all these facts and material that never appeared in the book at all.

I'm with the majority, my worst is Math. Goes in one ear and out the other.
My best is I'd say English.
Science is easy too, all you have to do is listen (but the second after we'd have a test I forget all of it)

My strongest subject is math. It's been my strongest since the young age of six. I learned multiplication at that age. I had this poster of multiplication tables in my room. I also watched the TV show, Square One. The last math class I've taken was trigonometry. I've got a "B+" in it.
As for my weakest subject, I'd have to say English. That's mostly due to the fact that I didn't take many English classes in the past. However, it's improving.

Strongest: Math or Science
Weakest: English
However...Statistics make me . I don't know why, it's almost like a mental block, but as soon as stats rise above the simple I tend to fall apart like a house of cards before a tornado.

Strongest: History/Science
Weakest: Math
Math has always kicked my ass and it'll probably kick a little harder when I'm in college.
I think its been proven everytime I go to school. People who are badass in something like History and English are horrible in Math and at times vice versa. I'm good in History and English but I suck in Math.

I'd say my strongest points are German and English. My weakest (and lowest grade ever) would be Chemistry (though it was AP). I'm pretty good in history (got a 4 on both the European and American history AP tests) and I usually get low As or high Bs in math. Science generally tends to be my lowest grades, though I have been taking AP science since sophomore year (and kicked butt in my freshman science class, so I don't know).

I mostly excell in Science and Math, but I do have a few problems from time to time. I've been doing great in History last school year (I think it's how my teacher teaches [very easy, just don't piss him off and he'll be in a bad mood], but I don't get how people still do badly in his class). I also do good in Music, because for me you just play your instrument, play in concerts, and be there in time. Mostly an easy 100!!
My worst class is English. It's not because I don't like to read, I just hate grammar (annoying and confusing). It's also because last school year my teacher can make his class become more boring than what it should be. Nice guy, but he just goes on and on....and he just ignores more of the rukus in the class (excpet for the talkinbg). Second worst is PE because I'm not a sports person, but I tolerate it because it's fun.

Strongest: Math, Computer Programming
Weakest: Science
Meh, my worst grades this past school year were in Biology(85's for 3 quarters straight!). Throughout my years, I haven't had the best time at science, I'm not too bad though.
Math...different story. My grades were always top notch, especially this past year. I got Student of the Month in February because of the 100 I earned in the third quarter. Computer programming...my favorite subject of all. I have a history of doing well here, and I've actually LIKED going to this class...very much so!
Honorable mentions for the strong points are English and History/social studies. I totally owned both of those classes this past year, but my other past experiences with SS hasn't been that bright....
Honorable mentions for weak points....Gym and Italian. I actually did very well in Gym grade-wise because I always participated....but performance is a whole 'nother ballgame. Italian....ugh...don't get me started. For the past three years I've had to unwillingly drag my unwilling ass through this class...quite unwillingly...though I did manage to do average grade-wise. Did I mention it was a very unwilling experience?
Best: Spanish and Science (specially Chemistry)
Worst: English (as a second language, of course) and GYM!

Best: Math
Worst: US History. I didn't suck at it (quite the opposite) but it just didn't interest me at all.
Gonna be a high school freshman in 5 days. I bet that that will change.

Lets see My strongest acadenic areas: Military History, Earth Science, Astronomy, Computer Information Systems (CIS), Web Development.
My weakest: Math. The highest succesful Math cource I took was Trigonametry. I was ripping my hair out but I managed to get a B+ in that cource. After that, I said to myself "No more Math courses".

My strength isn't really an academic thing not that I'm saying I'm a freakin genius with outstanding grades, far from it. I work very hard when I need to but then that's also my weakness because for me I feel that everything must be done right and perfectly so I do my hardest at almost everything and make things more complicated than need be. I require balance.

I dunno. I've never found any of it hard or anything.
I like math and business classes the most and then english class seems like the most useless to me, but I still thought they were all easy.

I don't know. I did very well in high school, though I struggled in many of those classes. I guess P.E. is my weakest class. I got an A, but only because I participated. I can't play sports. More of a dance and yoga person. I'm trying to think of a class that was a very easy A for me, even though I didn't put a lot of time into it... can't think of anything.
In college, my strongest class is printmaking, and my weakest class is typography.

Weakest, and most pointless, is Math.
Strongest is English, especially writing. Give me an essay over a graphing problem any day. Any.
The point has been brought up about those being strong in English being stupid in Math, and vice versa. It has to do with sides of the brain, one being more for hand-eye, mathematics, and logic, the other being for creativity and linguistics (I can't remember which is the left and which is the right, though). This, of course, would explain my ineptness in math and my inability to draw in 3-D or wrap an electrical cord, but also the fact that I love to sing and why I haven't made below a 90 on a paper since....since...
