Fabian Nicieza: I approached Dan Raspler when I heard they were doing the book, he said to go ahead and pitch, then he quickly picked one of the many pitches I tossed hisway and away we went! I hope they keep publishing the book because I'd love to do another one.

TZ: What was it like to write a comic story for a show that didn't premiere yet?

FN: Not that hard, considering the series bible is very informative and the characters are well known to those of us in the industry. The fun challenge was to write an "all ages" story which very few superhero comics tend to be nowadays. The story has antagonists who are morally grey, it's not as clear cut if they're good guys or bad guys and that made the story enjoyable to write.

TZ: Could you compare this work to your work on X-Men?

FN: Hah. HAH. HAHAHA. HAHAHAH HAHHA HAH. Hah. Ahem. Ha. Next question...

TZ: Now the complete fanboy quesiton: X-Men vs. JLA - Who'd win?

FN: Complere fanboy answer: the JLA would kick their asses inside and out, upside down and rightside up.

Justice League Adventures #3 hits comic shelves on January 9th. Stay tuned for more Justice League news later this week, here at TZN!
