While it's not a shocker, It seems that Microsoft has really established it's self as a major player in the industry. Nintendo needs to get back on track.

Sorry, but that sounds like a monumentally stupid poll to me. First of all, the question they asked was "what system would you consider buying in the next 12 months?" Of course less people said the Revolution, it probably won't be out in the next twelve months. It's also no surprise that the XBox 360 would be the most popular in this survey, as major details about the other two platforms have yet to be revealed (such as price points, final specs, the Revolution's mysterious controller, launch titles).

Polls like that really don't mean much, since they can't take into account the marketing material and retail stigmas that will be out there around the release of each console.

Pretty much what I'd expect from a current "next-gen popularity poll". Although, reading some of the comments under that link probably cost me a few IQ points... thanks. :p

Anyhoo, Nintendo is off in its own little niche... a place where they still manage to turn decent profits despite their position in the console race.
