FWIW, I just noticed that they've started showing the latest Chuck Jones-created Thomas "Timber" Wolf cartoon, "Ohhh! Christmas Tree" (http://www2.warnerbros.com/web/timberwolf/episodes.jsp).

It's being promoted as his "first yuletide cartoon since co-directing the 1966 classic "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!" "...

I liked this episode of Timber Wolf. The ending was pretty clever, and it proves that this is one of the only times a character in a Christmas cartoon DOESN'T get a happy ending. The same goes for "Mice Meeting You", where Katnip gets tangled in Christmas lights and bulps, and Herman sticks the cat's tail into a socket, lighting up Katnip!

Loved the double-pronged irony at the end, and the detail on animating Thomas' naked wrinkled butt-nub....

Am downloading "Tree for Two" as we speak....

I think he supposedly made it up in the 60s, durring Jones' time at MGM. It wasn't until now that it actually became a cartoon, though.

I also like how Timber isn't being billed as a Looney Tunes character as well...
