I'm off to SICAF (http://www.sicaf.or.kr/Eng) next week, and I'm lookin' at the online trailers (http://movie.naver.com/movie/preview/preview.nhn?preview_id=244&inpage=3_1_1) (IE only). I'm definitely most excited about Nyocker! (The District), the Hungarian one with the dog picture. I've heard the story follows some kids who realize the way to get power over the rival group is money, so they go back in time and make it so there's oil under their part of the neighborhood, then go back to the future and drill for it and all sorts of crazy stuff happens, and Bush and the Pope and bin Laden show up. Looks crazy. The animation was done by rotoscoping the heads and drawing on the bodies.

And of course I'm also looking forward to seeing Place Promised. My Japanese lit prof would be proud of me for recognizing the Miyazawa Kenji poem the girl was reading in the preview (Eiketsu no Asa, Morning of the Last Goodbye). Great poem.
