Warner Brothers has announced that the release of the Justice League animated series on DVD will take place on June 13, 2002. Among other things, it is slated to include:
> Director's commentary on all episodes
> Storyboards
> Stills and animation cels not seen on the episodes aired
> **A 2-part episode that did not air in the first season!** (titled "Hunter Hunted")
> And more
That's all the detail they've released right now, but more information is supposed to be coming soon.. retail price will be around US$19.99..
Pay no attention, folks. DG gets word direct from Bruce Timm: This is bull.

It's not even that...I mean, a missing episode? That was a red flag going up. We would have heard something already.

yeah.....why would they put a "missing episode" of a series that is still brand new?
Well, I don't accept any of this news....I'll wait for a OFFICIAL announcement..

I'm curious as to where thins information came as well. Bruce Timm said the DVD set would contain SECRET ORIGINS - and that was coming directly from Timm. "Animation Cels" is another thing that perplexes me. Since cimputer coloring has kicked in - animation cels are nonexistent. I'd like to know the source for this news...

I apologize, folks. I realize it must be hard to accept something you hear on a message board without any kind of credibility behind it.
I work for Warner Brothers, and I'm actually quite good friends with Kurt Warner, the more stately of the Warner Brothers, and co-owner of WB. I'm a conceptual arist, and my works include Michigan Frog, the loveable mascot of the WB Network.
The information I released earlier in the post was found on a memo I intercepted from Kurt (Warner) to Martian Manhunter's personal assistant ( I also understand that MM can be quite a she-devil when he doesn't get his daily tofu facial wrap! But you didn't hear that from me!)
In any case, mumblings in the hall also lead me to believe that the second season premire of JLA will be entitled "Bin Laden me Down", and will feature our favorite crime fighting team's battle with that nasty Al Qaeda guy! Stay tuned, fellow toon-heads!

Is there any point in keeping this thread open, then? It'll only confuse and anger people who stumble onto it--like it did to me. And then it'll just turn into a "let's all flame Mattloaf1" thread.
I'm gonna close it.
