Japanese Title: Holy Ground of the Stars

It's quite sad the lack of attention SK is getting. I guess it will just be another 4kids anime that will have a good run and then fade into obscurity. At least the DVD's are out. And hopefully they'll be in box set form sooner or later.

-Why is Manta following Hao again?
-"ROFLOL!" is the only proper response to the gang's "O_O!" reaction to Ren thanking them.
-And Lyserg is back on the side of non-fanatical-good.
-...man, I've GOT to get better at commenting on episodes that revolve around fighting :P

-Why is Manta following Hao again? Because he quite literally has nothing better to do.

And because someone had to yell at Hao "No! You can never win!" repeatedly while Yoh was busy mopping up all of his minions.

Speaking of minions... Poor, poor Hanagumi. What have they done to you? Did they even go into the history of these three in the anime? I really want to know what's up...

Just another great episode to a series that gets just as much attention as Kirby does. What a shame, just four more left.

What confused me was how Manta was behind Hao and still managed to mistake him for Yoh (I finished the show the other day).

And no origin on the Hanagumi. I watched the last 58 episodes in about 2 weeks and nada.

Ah, doing a quick Google search, I got a lot of junk. Chances are, they get a very short backstory that's predictable in the extreme... If they get any at all.

A far cry from the shockers at the start of the series, but eh. It's hard to be dissapointed when you already know what's comming.

At least I'll be here for the last week... I think.

For some reason, I want to see it...

In a series with too many characters, some are always left out. It's kinda like saying, "I wish we got some more backstory on Maya in Evangelion!"

Series is generally going fairly predictably towards the finale, but it's the finale I want to see. I want to see how they handle it, because most of these game-driven series tend to end with the implication of, "The threat to our game is over and all is right! So go play and buy some more!" I know that Shaman King's ending turns that message around, so to speak.

Not quite the same thing, as not only are Hanagumi somewhat more important to the show than that, but this is also a series where most bad guys spend time before, during, or after the fight (or sometimes a combination of the three) expounding on their dark pasts that have lead them to this point.

Still, your point is well-made, and as I said. I'm not that dissapointed.

What? How can anything be more important than Maya's deep love for Ritsuko? It's the basis for the entire show! And her constant "Eva-01 is not responding!" is the single most important quote of the show! (Really, when you think about it, it is.)

I know some people think Hanagumi is important to the show, but honestly they're just a couple of scrubs who got a bit more screen time than usual.:p Unlike even the "Fox Force Five" girls, they haven't even appeared in the show for more than 4 consecutive episodes at a time. I just don't think they're important ENOUGH to the show to get that kind of screen time, especially when there are already so many "good guys" they want to spend more time on.

But, as I said, sometimes people always get left out. Maybe the manga goes more into this.
