Hawkgirl episode idea -- anyone got any other episode ideas?

Hey! Everyone check this out!

I have an idea for an episode that features Hawkgirl. It would proabably make a great Season 2 episode ;)

I hope that the episode that focuses on Hawkgirl takes place on Thanagar, has Hawkman making a guest appearance, and explains why she's defending Earth instead of Thanagar.

The parasite aliens led by the Imperium ("Secret Origins") are found to now be invading Thanagar. (We saw their ship leave Earth, so they weren't defeated permanantly; they were just driven off Earth.) So, since that's her homeworld, AND she's fought the Imperium before, she goes back to Thanagar to help stop the invasion. Of course, she takes a few JL members with her (Superman, GL, Martian Manhunter ?).

Now, when she gets there, we viewers discover that she was one of the best cops on Thanagar, and while she's been gone, Hawkman has taken her place as "top cop." (He and the city she worked in isn't happy about her leaving either. It's like Batman going to another planet, and leaving Nightwing to take his place permanantly!). So, in that sub-plot thread, we learn WHY Hawkgirl is defending Earth and not Thanagar. (Why is this, anyway? I have no explanation for that one. Anyone got any ideas?)

In summary, we get to see the Imperium make a "last stand" (we could kill them off permanantly this time), we get to see Hawkman, we get the background on Hawkgirl, we get to see Thanagar, AND we get some cool action sequences at the same time. Dini & Timm could do this in 2 episodes! :D

(Man, I wish sometimes they'd let me write for the show... I'd LOVE it! :p )

I think that when (not "if" ;) ) JL gets to Season 3, we'll probably see our first lot of stand-alone episodes. Here, Dini & Timm could do a few of the things they never got to do on "Batman/Superman". For example:

1. Why not make an episode where Batman and Flash team up to stop the Clock King? This time, he's put that device he had on B:TAS "Time Out of Joint" to use again.

2. We could have an episode where Darkseid is plotting against Earth again -- but this time, Superman's away on another mission with a few other JL members, so only Batman and Wonder Woman (I doubt we'll see those two ever leave Earth except for rare occasions) are left to stop him. (Batman vs. Darkseid? Cool! :D )

3. We could also have an episode where Joker leads the Injustice Gang (I have a feeling that Luthor & Joker take turns being leader of the IG, whenever it suits them) on another rampage, but this time Batman is the one missing. Can the other JL members outsmart the Joker without Batman's help? (Anyone got any ideas where Batman could be preoccupied? Maybe he's chasing Ra's Al Guhl again.)

...that all I've got for now. Of course, any of these three ideas could be re-adapted into 2-part episodes if desired. :)

How about an episode where Brainiac is threatening some other planet besides Earth, and Superman takes some JL members with him to stop him? (Hmmm... maybe Brainiac could threaten Oa? Then we could make it a Superman/GL team-up episode.)

These team-up episodes could be cool! Just two JL members per team-up episode. The possiblities are endless!

OK, my wheels in my brain's been turning, but it's time to go to bed tonight. I'd love to hear what everyone thinks, though! :)

personally, id love to see the rest of the bat team on jl. Otherwise, it would be cool to go Gotham City. And the Flash and GL intrigue me. I'd like to see them w/batman(ok, ill stop). And also, I'd like to see more of Flash hitting on the ladies of the JL. The stuff in secret origins was funny

1. Tower of Babel - This would make an awesome 3 parter

2. Episode with Parallax - This allows for Hal Jordan to be in JL, he has already become Parallax. This Episode could be awesome. Just think, you could have characters fro many time. Justice League Unlimited, Legion of Superheros...

3. Episode with Darkseid and New Genesis - Their conflict was never really explained that well in Superman. I would like to see more of these characters, especially New Genesis

4. Dr. Fate - I would love to see a Batman / Doctor Fate episode. Perhaps there could be a group of occult type heroes, such as Etrigan and Fate in the same Episode.

5. Nightwing - He was in almost no Episodes of TNBSA, It would be cool to see him protecting his own city. Even if it is just a cameo. Not eveything on Earth has to be in Metropolis or Gotham. What about Coast City?

Actually, I really want to see a Hawkgirl/Batman teamup,

Since their both detectives, It would be cool to see Batman's Dark detective persona clash with Hawkgirl's down town cop attitude.

They could be involved in a major World thretening Mystery which they only have 3 days to solve.

Plus- I'd like to see a Promethieus episode, I think the guy ruled!
