The Hellfire Club: Witch's Evil: Chapter 1: World Not Your Own


Selene had just entered the mansion of Marcus Lyonheart. One of the oldest Hellfire Club supporters. She came to ask him for help once more, which was most likely not going to happen because Selene had betrayed him once before. Marcus sat calmly on his coach as Selene floated above him. "I want to apologize, Marcus. The Power of Saturnyne had gone to my head." Selene explained starring into the red eyes of Marcus. Then unexpectedly Marcus ran up to Selene and put his arms around her. Then, in seconds, the both of them had been transported to a hellish like world.

Selene pushed Marcus away from her and began looking around. "I recognize this world. It's Limbo, home of one of my former rivals, Amanda Sefton. Why have you brought me here, Marcus?" Selene asked very curiously. She wouldn't know a reason for Marcus to even know this world. "Did you not sense it? The huge tampering of Magic when I brought you here. Some unusual force has tampered with the very fabric of reality." Marcus explained slowly as he picked up a sword and sheath and tied it around his waist. Then suddenly his body began to change into a strange demonic form. Marcus Lyonheart was actually the ancient old Wizard known as Belasco. "Belasco, you pompous twit. How dare you fool me. You will learn no one plays tricks on the goddess of the..." Selene began rambling until Belasco picked up a sword and tossed it at her, interrupting her speech.


"I assume you wish me to help you. After this trickery why would you presume for me to do anything for you?" Selene asked tying the sword around her waist. She wrapped her hair in a bun and then took off her earrings. "I presume nothing, Witch. You already know you are no match for me, Selene. But I chose wisely in picking you as an ally. If my calculations are correct. Then you will be unaffected by the events as they occur." Belasco explained opening up a portal back to Earth. "You were once trapped in this place, were you not?" Selene asked as they both entered the portal. "*Yes I was for centuries. But I was recently freed. Why do you ask?" Belasco demanded to know why Selene was so curious. "I was trapped once. Underneath the catacombs of my beloved mansion. I was forced to use certain techniques to free myself. It left me at less then half my strength. But you know all this already if you are Marcus Lyonheart." Selene explained as they appeared back at Marcus's Mansion but it was very different. The mansion was in shambles.

"Marcus Lyonheart was a fool. I replaced him shortly after you had met him. I took an interest in you shortly after I had sensed your attempt to power using the demon known as Blackheart.** It was an impressive power play I might add." Belasco described as they stood outside Marcus' former mansion. "Are you here to fladder me or are you going to tell me what's going on." Selene sarcastically stated with a grin on her face.

"Through Marcus I could use his powers to see the future. That's why I was forced to act. If Marcus is right, The woman known as Wanda Maximoff has used her magical abilities to alter reality. Magneto is ruler of the world and to me this is unacceptable.*" Belasco explained slowly the events of House of M to the shocked Selene. "I never imagined Wanda would have such untapped potential. I would have tried to persuade her if only I sensed. So Magneto rules the planet. How very droll, We must rectify this situation." Selene said pulling out her sword.

Belasco grabbed Selene's hand. "Unfortunately there are much simpler ways to find out what's going on." Belasco said turning into his Marcus Lyonheart persona. Selene sheathed her sword and in the blink of an eye she changed her clothes into a beautiful black gown, with her hair in a fancy bun and a tiara on her head. "Let's see what this world brings us, Marcus."


Braddock Manor:

The closest place to them would be the home of Brian Braddock, now known as the king of England. He was throwing a Gala as it seemed that day. So Marcus and Selene decided to drop in for a little visit. "It would be here if we are to find information on Magneto. Stay close we don't how things work here yet." Marcus whispered to Selene as they walked around the Gala. "What's to know, we both have adapted before. We will meet up in half an hour. Bye ,Hun" Selene stated kissing Marcus on the cheek and leaving his side. "Why do I find her so attractive?" Marcus asked watching her leave.


While Selene was rumbling around the party she bumped into a familiar face. The White Queen of the Hellfire Club, Courtney Ross. "Courtney, luv, it's been a devil's age." Selene said looking at the beautiful white gowned woman. "Is that you, Queen Selene Lyonheart? Last I heard you were locked up by Magneto's men for treason. Didn't they take away your title of Queen of the Caribbean also? I heard they threw away the key. When did they let you out?" Courtney Ross stated hugging Selene and air kissing her cheeks.


"Is that so? Didn't you hear? I was unlawfully imprisoned. I cleared my name and Magneto gave me a full pardon. He even reinstated my title as Queen. I needed some much needed rest so I returned to my capital of Nova Roma. " Selene lied and pulled out anything she could think of to make herself seem truthful. "Well the much needed rest suits you. You look delightful. We need to get together. Give me a call and I'll fly down to Brazil and we will party." Courtney added sipping from her glass of wine. "Yes we should definitively do that."


Selene and Courtney parted ways. " That was close. Luckily I am very resourceful when it comes to..." Selene thought to herself when a hand latched onto her shoulder. It was Marcus but what did he want so soon. "Things have gotten complicated my dear. We must leave." Marcus explained turning his head to the entrance. He watched as Psylocke and Rachel Grey entered the mansion. "Rachel, she is here and now. She also has no idea who I am. This is the perfect time to..." Selene started to say when Marcus interrupted her. "Don't be a fool. Rachel once tapped into the power of the Phoenix. Her hatred for you is beyond limits. I have a feeling if she saw you here, it wouldn't matter if reality has changed she would still remember. And right now our cover being blown is the last thing we need." Marcus slowly explained as Rachel and Psylocke past by them.


Selene and Belasco had much in common. Both tampered in magic, both immortal, both eons old, and both unsuccessful in turning the world in their favor.As they exited the gala both Marcus and Selene seemed at odds on what to do with the Magneto situation. "We should just go to Genosha and confront them. Between the two of us they are nothing." Selene argued with Marcus as they walked down the street. "You are not at full strength Selene. Wanda has changed the very fabric of time. We cannot face her alone. Let's not forget that Magneto has his little dear, Lorna Dane. We need help." As that last statement exited his mouth a flash of light appeared in front of the two. It was a holographic image of the Omniversal Majetrix, Saturnyne.

"As much as I despise you Selene. I cannot depend on others to stop this madness. I have decided to give you some input on your histories here." Saturnyne began to explain her untimely arrival in front of them. She put out her right hand and two beams of light hit the foreheads of Selene and Marcus.

Selene Galleo of Nova Roma was Queen of her Isle when the Human/Mutant War broke out. Magneto had heard much of her so he arranged a meeting. Selene agreed to join Magneto's side as a general of his armies. While she was on Magneto's side she met a man named Marcus Lyonheart. The two fell in love. When Magneto became king of Earth he awarded Selene almost all of South America and the Caribbean. She ruled from her capital of Nova Roma. Shortly after she became Queen, her and Marcus wed. They ruled as Queen and King for years until Magneto learned that Selene was behind a scheme to overthrow him. She was captured and sentenced to life imprisonment in a high security facility in Genosha. Magneto believed Marcus to be innocent and left him in office as King. Though obviously you cannot be in two places at once. So I doubt even Magneto knows you have escaped...

"...You asked for help. Now that you know the history of your counter parts. You will get the help you desire. Farewell, Selene. Undo what has been done." Saturnyne explained and then vanished into the air. Selene and Marcus watched with their mouths opened wide, shocked of the events of their counterparts. Then Suddenly from behind them, Selene heard a loud yell.

"Selene!!! How Dare You!!!" Selene turned around to notice a young teenager girl with long curly black hair. The girl walked up to Selene and slapped her across her face. "You dare show your face after what you tried to do to Magneto. What you did to my family. I should call the police right now. " The young girl continued to yell at the top of her lungs. "You call anyone and it will be the end of you, you young arrogant cow." Selene answered holding her face after the hard slap.

The girl turned her focus to Marcus. "And Daddy!! How could you possibly take her back after what she did to our family. All the pain she caused us because of her greed. I will never call her "mother" again." The girl stated and with that Selene learned the shocking truth of this visitor. "Mother?" Selene stated confused. "What? You've been locked away to long to remember your own daughter, Neona"

The Hellfire Club: Witch's Evil: Chapter 2: Face-Off



Selene looked shocked when her supposed daughter showed herself. She knew this wasn't her world but she didn't expect this. Neona was a beautiful girl, she seemed human but Selene knew that couldn't be true. If in fact she was the daughter of Belasco and Selene, she would be a force to be reckoned with. "A Little piece of information Saturnyne chose to withheld." Selene stated with her arms crossed. "What's that suppose to mean?" Neona demanded from the mother she despised. "Well let us show her dear" Marcus added with his body glowing with a powerful red aura. Marcus then transformed into his Belasco form. "Oh my god. Father, what did she do to you?" Neona said taking a few steps back.

"I know it's hard to understand, daughter. But all will be explained. Let us make our way to Genosha." Belasco explained raising his arms in the air. Then with a flash of light, Neona, Selene, and Belasco appeared in Genosha. "Prepare yourself, Neona. I have much to show you." Selene stated latching her hands onto Neona's face. A Purple beam of energy shot out of Selene's forehead and struck Neona's. Neona was struck with a flooded amount of information from Selene's mind. In the time of 1 second she learned everything of what had happened. "No!!! You Lie!!!" Neona screamed pulling away from her estranged mother. "I wish I were, Neona. But it's all true. Everything is a dream made up by a mad mutant named Wanda Maximoff. And we need your help to set things right." Selene explained putting her hand on Neona's Shoulder.

Neona collapsed to her knees as tears came down her face. "But that means. I am just part of someone's imagination. No I don't believe it. I wont believe it. I'm real!! You expect me to help you kill me? You're crazy." Neona exploded with emotions and got up from the ground. Her body began glowing and a powerful white beam of light exploded from her hand, souring through the air, and striking Selene. Selene fell back and hit the concrete hard. "What in the world?" Neona asked herself looking at her hand. "As our daughter you are granted certain...gifts. Selene and I are both ancient sorcerers. It is not surprising that your powers would surface. We need you to access Magneto's castle. Since you are princess of Nova Roma you would be able to enter undetected. Once inside you must locate Wanda Maximoff. Then Selene and I will finish things." Belasco explained the plan he had thought up. But would they be able to pull it off?

"Why should I help you? The world is better for us now."Neona explained to Belasco as Selene floated back up from the ground. "Because Magneto's rule was made by magic that is altering the very fabric of Space and Time. If left unchecked it would cause a massive time/space anomaly. The feedback would cause all realities to crumble into each other. Destroying everyone in it's path." Selene explained wrapping her shadow body around Belasco's waist. "You couldn't have put it better my dear" Belasco added turning his head to Selene. "Since you are only a fabric of Wanda's imagination you cannot defeat her. But you can get us close enough to finish the job." Selene stated once more to Neona.

Neona closed her eyes and her outfit changed into long white gown. "I'll do it only to save all of reality. I still hate your guts." Neona said starting her walk to the House of M. As she made her way to the gates she noticed her mother's old platoon were standing watch. The new leader of the team was a man named Donald Pierce. He once fought against Magneto but when Magneto won the war, he pled his allegiance and began working with Selene. When Selene left Magneto's war to rule Nova Roma, Pierce was left in charge. He is half man, half machine, but has the strength of Ten Men. The second in command is a psychopathic assassin simply called Sage. Her legend precedes itself. Once worked with a league of assassins called The Hand before the war broke out. Magneto came calling personally for her to join his cause. She is a genius martial artist but also has a supercomputer mind. She can also tell your a mutant even before you know it yourself. She's the tracker of the team. The last and probably the worst is Vargas. Last name unknown, him and Sage are a match made in heaven. They married after they met on Selene's team. The both are the best at what they do. Which is killing traitors and selling their talents as mercenaries. Pierce was the most powerful of them but it was Sage and Vargas you had to worry about. They were known as the Mutant Liberation Front.

Neona closed in on the gates when Donald opened it widely with open arms. "If it isn't Neona Lyonheart, Princess of Nova Roma. The daughter of our once beloved leader. What brings you here, my dear?" Donald asked grabbing onto Neona's face, running his fingers down her cheek. "Hands off creep. You know I am royalty and I am not to be touched by the common folk." Neona snapped back trying to keep her voice calm. She didn't want her cover to be blown. Sage walked up to Neona and starred her up and down. "You think yourself better than us because Selene's your mother? That treacherous witch got what she deserved, she did , and we will not take such mockery from you. Just be glad magneto hasn't thrown you to the wolves yet." Sage explained grabbing Neona by her dress. "Enough Tessa. You know royalty is suppose to be allowed to enter no matter what. And she is just a child. Their is no honor in the killing of children." Vargas stated, seeming to be the only level headed one. "That's where you and I differ my love" Sage added throwing her arms around Vargas. "Oh but I can see much better things to do to that body then kill." Donald said watching Neona walk by.

Neona made her way inside the Genoshan castle. As she entered a dark shroud of Shadows erupted from the floor by the Mutant Liberation Front. The shadows wrapped around Pierce, Sage, and Vargas and held them tight in it's grasp. "Don't you ever treat my daughter that way, vermin. You aren't worthy enough to lick my boots." Selene's face appeared out of the shroud of shadows. "Impossible, you're suppose to be locked away. Magneto would never let you free." Donald said with a look of fear in his face. Belasco snuck up from behind Sage and stabbed her through the chest with his sword, blood went splattering everywhere. "Tessa!!!" Vargas yelled at the top of his lungs. Belasco pulled out his sword and ran up to Vargas and chopped his head off. "Oh my lord. Please I can help you. Whatever you want it's yours. I can bring you to magneto. I can help you see him on his knees." Donald pleaded for his life. "No agreements, Pierce" Selene firmly said and the shadows around Donald crushed his body, breaking through the bones and robotics that was his body.


Inside:


Magneto stood by his balcony, wearing what seemed to be white sleepwear. He turned his head and smiled at Neona. "Princess Neona. Have you come to plead with me to free your mother once again?" Magneto asked walking towards Neona. Neona looked around the room and noticed a bedroom to the right of her. A woman with long curly hair, lay comfortably on the bed. "Please consider it, Lord Magneto. I can promise you that she was not involved in that terrorist activity. She has been an ally to you for so long. " Neona pleaded even though she wasn't telling the truth. "There is something else troubling you, is there not?" Magneto pursued Neona as in interrogating her. "It's...It's my father. He's lonely. He sits up at night thinking of my mother. He misses her more then words can explain. If only you knew the pain of missing a wife or mother." Neona explained bowing her head and closing her eyes. Magneto walked over to her and placed his thumb and index finger on her chin. "If only you knew, Princess. If only you knew how wrong you are."


Neona looked up at her lord and couldn't believe what she was about to do. Her eyes became whiter then a ghost and Magneto was sent flying into a wall. Neona ran towards the bedroom of Wanda Maximoff. "No!! You may not enter there!!!" Magneto yelled. His fists began to glow with energy. He formed a metal rod from the metal floor below. He then sent the rod flying through the air at Neona. Neona made it to the door and opened it to see Wanda sleeping calmly in her bed, then suddenly the metal rod punctured her stomach entering her back and exiting out her torso. As that happened, Selene and Belasco entered the master bedroom. "Neona!!! No!!" Selene screamed as she saw the horror of her child being murdered in front of her. Magneto turned his head to see a blight flash. Selene and Belasco were gone and Magneto had no idea who entered his domain.


Miles Away:

Selene and Belasco appeared miles away from the castle. Belasco had used his powers to teleport them before Magneto could notice them. "No!! We have to go back for her. We have to save our daughter!!" Selene yelled at Belasco with tears coming down her face. "She is already gone and our plan failed. Magneto would have awakened Wanda. We wouldn't be able to take him and her on single handedly. Also it seems the changes are slowly effecting us. You're already feeling for a daughter we do not have. Emotions you of all people should not be feeling. And my tail has gotten slightly shorter, my horns are almost completely gone. The longer we stay in this world the faster we will turn into our counter parts. Until we will not even remember our mission. I didn't plan for this." Belasco explained the sudden concern Selene felt for her false daughter and the changing of his own body.


"Saturnyne!!! Appear!!!" Selene yelled into mid air and suddenly the holographic image of Saturnyne appeared in front of them. "Listen carefully you cow. I have conditions for our mission." Selene slowly explained to the floating image. "What are those conditions, Selene?" Saturnyne curiously asked. "No matter what happens to us. Or to this world...Neona must survive. I want her to live after this is over. Promise me that she will live or I quit now. Belasco and I will return to Limbo were time and space is unaffected and we will live out our lives there." Selene confidently made her demands. Which were very odd. Selene was one of the most selfish people on Earth. But right now she was making the most unselfish move she could make.


"I can promise you she will survive but you will never be able to see her again. Is that acceptable to you?" Saturnyne explained. "As long as she survives." Selene replied. "A deal is a deal" Saturnyne answered as she snapped her fingers. Saturnyne's image shattered into nothingness. "We could have asked for anything and you ask to save a daughter we do not have?" Belasco asked with his arms crossed, starring into Selene's eyes. "I do not know why. But deep inside my soul I know she is mine. Or at least she is meant to be mine." Selene explained in little detail why she kept Neona alive. "He killed our Daughter. Now we do things my way, Belasco. We confront Magneto head on." Selene stated holding her fist up. Belasco's eyebrow arched as she told him her plan. Was it possible for Selene and Belasco to take on Magneto and Wanda head on and win?

Thanks for the advice. I just hope none of the characters I am using in my story turn up in HOM. Cause then I would have to go back and do some "Re-Tooling". Especially Since I have a strong feeling about Sage being involved in House of M.

The Hellfire Club: Witch's Evil: Chapter 3: Stand In Line

Otherworld:

There is a place beyond space and time. Where all universes meet. A point of Eternity were all realities collide. It is known as Otherworld. Roma is the keeper of otherworld and guardian of the multiverse. Saturnyne is her faithful companion, she is the omniversal majestrix, and right now they are both worried.

Suddenly as Roma and Saturnyne sat waiting for news from Earth 616. A floating body appeared in front of them. She was known as Neona Lyonheart. She was daughter of Selene and Marcus Lyonheart and Princess of Nova Roma. Technically she is merely a figment of Wanda Maximoff's twisted imagination. But right now Saturnyne has promised Selene that she will let her live and has ripped her out of her timeline and brought her here to Otherworld.

"What are your plans for this being, Saturnyne?" Roma asked looking at the young teenager. "I see no reason not to keep my promise to Selene. Besides Neona might come in handy to our cause. She is infact pretty powerful." Saturnyne explained walking infront of the floating girl. Roma walked over and sat down when a ball of energy formed before her, the ball became a window to what was going on, on Earth 616. They saw as Captain Britain, Psylocke, Rachel, and Meggan attending to Nocturne*.

"How droll, We have so many people trying to revert what has happened to Earth 616. Yet none of them have succeeded yet. This is all your fault, Roma. Letting Brian claim otherworld as his own. Now it's ofcourse the prime Earth that gives us trouble. If not for this Earth all of the multiverse would be safe. We should have cut our loses when we had a chance" Saturnyne explained putting her hand on her pistol. Roma changed the view of her crystal ball now showing Selene and Belasco walking through Genosha. "All things come with a price, Saturnyne. And all things happen for a reason." Roma said calmy, replying to Saturnyne's rant.


Genosha, Home of King Magneto:


"It's all falling apart. I feel myself waning. Turning more and more like my counter" Selene stated holding onto her head. She walked over to the side of the road and sat atop a boulder sticking out of the ground. "You must be strong, Selene. Magneto will be stopped. I cannot use you this way. You are becoming a shadow of your former self." Belasco replied grabbing onto Selene's arm and pulling her up. "You're suppose to be power incarnate, not the pathetic, emotional, fool that you are now." Belasco added throwing Selene to the ground. Selene floated up in the air and shadows wrapped around Belasco's body. "You dare treat me like a common woman. You shall feel my wraith, Belasco. You shall know why I was worshipped as a Goddess while you were trapped in the misbegotten limbo!!!" Selene, enraged with emotion, yelled at the top of her lungs, tightening her grip around Belasco.

Belasco's body was covered in a red aura. Then suddenly he exploded in a shockwave of energy. Selene's shadows were ripped apart, and her body was thrown across the dirt. "That's the Selene I want to see. The ruthless, murderous, witch of legend. Neona was our daughter, Selene. Yet I can careless of her death. You on the other hand call upon help to save her from her inevitable path. Now will you stand aside while I deal with Magneto or will you be by my side, As my queen." Belasco explained putting out his right hand to Selene. Selene reached out and grabbed onto his hand. "As your queen seems more promising. But mark my words, Belasco. I will be treated as your equal not your servent." Selene stated her demands.

Belasco and Selene were unbeatable seperate but together they would be a power unseen since the dawn of time. They continued their journey towards the palace of Magneto. But who they would run into next was unexpected and astounding. Selene and Belasco watched as a crimson haired damsel ran past them, she was wearing dirty rags, as she fell to the floor beside the two powerhouses. "Please spare your time and help me." The woman pleaded grabbing onto Belasco's cape and starring up at him from the ground. "Oh my, look who it is." Belasco stated with his opened widely in shock. The red haired damsel in distress was the strongest sorceress in the entire world, Margali Szardos.

"Ironic. Margali was the one who trapped me in the Catacombs when she decided to join the shadow hunters in combating evil magics. Yet she is made into a streetrat by Wanda who is misusing her magics. This is no more then what she deserves. We should put her out of her misery." Selene explained with her fist glowing with power. "We both have much hatred for this woman that stands in front of us. But I wonder what we could accomplish with her help." Belasco replied helping Margali up from the dirt. "You can't be serious" Selene added crossing her arms. "Think past your hatred, Selene. Think of the possibility of stopping Magneto with her help." Belasco stated turing his head to Selene. Belasco and Selene joined hands and a powerful energy blast flowed from their foreheads and struck down on Margali, The full totality of Selene and Belasco's psychic power rained down on Margali, shattering her false memories and revealing the truth behind her life.

Margali latched onto her head with both hands and stepped a few feet back. Then she stood up right and her body transformed to her natural look. "Wanda Maximoff has abused much magics in this transformation and as much as I dispise the both of you. I feel compelled to assist you in your quest." Margali said floating towards the other magic users. Then two shield agents came running down the dirt road. "You're not suppose to leave our sight, scum." The Guard said pointing his gun at Margali. Margali turned her head and the ground beneath them seperated, they were engulfed into the dirt and the Earth reformed itself. "Magneto's brat made sure no one who could see through her facade was able to figure it out. According to what I have heard. I was also imprisoned." Selene said to the former Red Queen of the Hellfire Club.

"What is your plan?" Margali asked crossing her arms and starring at Selene with glowing red eyes. "We're taking them head on. Want to come?" Selene replied with a smirk on her face. "Wanda's not evil. She is misguided. I will not let anyone harm her. It's Magneto we must stop. He is the key to all of this." Margali explained. "Don't be dense, woman. Things might not revert back unless Wanda is killed." Belasco answered grabbing onto Margali's right arm. "Hands off demon, I have banquished you before and I would do so again." Margali angrily said sending Belasco flying across the plane.


Otherworld:

"These are the people we have to save the multiverse? They can't even save themselves." Saturnyne stating watching Selene,Belasco, and Margali bicker. Roma turned her head to Saturnyne and replied "Calm yourself, Saturnyne. Margali is one of the strongest sorcerers in the universe. With her help, I doubt Wanda would be able to stop them." Roma explained waving her hands over the ball of energy. Then the view slightly changed, Showing a young girl standing in a circle of heroes. " *Young Layla Miller's powers seem to be awakening almost all of Earth 616's heroes. Such a power in such a young girl" Roma added watching Layla Miller inside the apartment of Emma Summers.

[* House of M # 4]

Genosha:

"I see you gained a new arm, Belasco. May I ask how?" Margali asked as the three began walking towards Magneto's Citadel. " I acquired the new limb from my alliance with the N'gari. Though I no longer serve any master except myself." Belasco explained flexing his new arm. "I believe we are close enough to teleport into Magneto's strong hold. I suggest we seperate. Margali closed her eyes and her arms laid cross her chest, then her body exploded and disapeared into the nothingness. Belasco snapped his fingers and he was gone.

The House of Magneto:

Princess Lorna stood next to her father as he began to get dressed for the Gala happening tonight. As Lorna stood there watching her estranged father the shadows below her engulfed her entire body, covering her mouth so she could not scream. The shadows pulled her down into the ground. Magneto turned around to see his daughter missing. "Lorna? Where are you?" Magneto said aloud curious about the whereabouts of his daughter. Suddenly Magneto was struck by a beam of white light, sending him slamming into the wall behind him.

Margali appeared infront of Magneto. "What you have done to this world is unforgivable. You must be stopped." Margali stated with her fists covered in power. "Try your best, witch. I have heard that statement so many a time it has lost all meaning." Magneto replied floating back to his feet. Suddenly two beams of red energy shot across the room at Magneto. Magneto turned his head, facing the energy, and forming a force shield around himself. The beams struck the forcefield and had no effect. Belasco made himself known. "You haven't a chance against me, master of magnetism. I am former lord lord of limbo and warrior of the N'gari and Elder Gods." Belasco boasted with his eyes glowing red. "Talk on, little man. You have never faced one such as me." Magneto said with his body covered in an aura of power.

Magneto then was wrapped up in Shadows from below him, Selene's face formed from the floor's tiles. "I have seen all you are magneto and it is nothing" Selene stated with a grin on her face. "Three against one, Bring it then." Magneto replied using his powers to rip the shadows off of him. Belasco, Selene, and Margali stood in line. It was really going to be a fight to remember.

The Hellfire Club: Witch's Evil: Chapter 4: Conclusion


"You were always a fool, Selene. You never could see the bigger picture." Magneto said, while his body illuminated with a powerful blue aura. "It is you who is the fool, Eric. Toying with the gods and fate. Do you have any idea what kind of consequences come with the magics you have tampered with." Selene replied, her fist in front of her."Think carefully. I could make you one of my generals." Magneto retorted, he didn't want to fight them. He was getting weary of the constant battles. "According to my false memories I have already went down that road. It doesn't work out." Selene answered spreading her shadows around the room. The shadows engulfed Magneto but in a matter of seconds, it blew off Magneto like it was mere water.

Belasco pulled out his sword and ran towards Magneto. Magneto used his powers to snatch the blade out of his hands and toss it across the room. Belasco then shot two beams of red energy exploding from his fists. Magneto pulled up a force field but it was no match to Belasco's magics. The shield shattered, the energy careening Magneto at full force. Magneto's body fell forward to the floor. Margali floated over to Magneto's body. "We are not trying to hurt you Magneto. But you must stop. The strings of reality are unraveling. You must know this is wro...Ack" Margali began only to be interrupted by Magneto's hand latching onto her neck. "I have worked for years for this goal and I will not give it up now." Magneto said throwing Margali across the room.

"Don't fight, Eric. You will only hurt yourselArgh!!!" Selene screamed in pain as a magenta beam of light shot through her torso. Selene turned her head to see Magneto's pride and joy, Lorna Dane. "You wont sneak up on me again, Selene. You want my father, you have to come through me." Polaris exclaimed with her fists glowing with power. Belasco ducked down and wrapped his tail around Lorna's neck and flung her over to Magneto. "That's not too hard to do my dear. Especially when you are up against Warrior of the Elder Gods, Keeper of the Winding Way, and the Goddess of the Moon." Belasco explained with a evil smirk on his face.

"I will let no one hurt my family. You will all feel the awesome power of the master of Magnetism." Magneto explained grabbing Lorna's hand. The two began floating in the air, bodies illuminating with power. Belasco and Margali sent two balls of energy spiraling at the two, but their powers were unable to penetrate the invisible force field. "That's impossible." Belasco stated his mouth opened widely. Suddenly behind Lorna and Magneto appeared flapping in the wind a red cape. Then a body followed, it was Wanda Maximoff. "It's her, the one who altered reality. As much as I distain murder of the innocent. She must fall." Margali explained pointing at Wanda. "Why do I have a feeling this is going to get ugly." Selene replied looking up at Wanda. Wanda floated in front of Lorna and Magneto and slowly landed on the ground. Her Eyes opened but she had no pupils, completely white eyes. Belasco, Margali, and Selene were flung across the room, smashing up against the wall.


Selene opened her eyes to notice she was up against a wall, shackled. According to her false memories, this was the dungeon of Genosha. It was called "The Pit". Only certain criminals were here, left and forgotten. Margali was also once here. Magneto walked over to Selene and slapped her in the face. "Wake up you arrogant fool." Magneto said crossing his arms and starring at Selene. Selene's vision cleared, she noticed Margali and Belasco on the side of her. They were also shackled. "You made my daughter very distraught. She had to punish you." Magneto explained grabbing onto Selene's face. "You all couldn't see the vision. You couldn't see the big picture. This is for all our kind. I am doing this for all of you." Magneto explained. "You're doing this for yourself, Eric. You were more arrogant then I was you sod." Selene yelled at Magneto. "Leave Morticia here, Father." Lorna stated walking out of the shadows. "We have to get ready for your Gala." She added pulling Magneto away. The two disappeared into the darkness.

As soon as they left a grin came upon Selene's face. She turned into shadows and melted through the shackles. She reformed inches away from the wall and reshaped her body. She walked over to Belasco. "Belasco, Margali wake up. We failed. Wanda was able to defeat all of us. With her unstable mind there is no end to her power. She just thinks it and it comes to pass." Selene explained ripping the shackles off of Belasco. She then went over to Margali and ripped off hers. "I know these catacombs well. My false persona was a prisoner here. I am so tired. Wanda is stronger then I expected." Margali explained rubbing her head. Belasco placed his hands in front of him. Dirt from the ground began circling him until it stopped in the palm of his hand. He blew the dirt from his hand and it formed into a sword and then magical turned into his previous blade. "Let us move. We cannot just waste time here." Belasco said waving his sword in the air.

"We need a better plan. Wanda beat us, we need to make sure it doesn't happen again." Margali explained to the ruff less former dictator of Limbo. Suddenly a blinding light entered the damp and dark dungeon. It was a holographic image of Saturnyne. "Selene you must fight on. We had an agreement. I will not let you fail. Take this to help you it comes from a distant reality. It will temporarily restore your powers Selene. Give you an actual physical form. Before warned, you can perish from the damage you receive while physical. It is the powerful eye of Mama Quilla." Saturnyne explained when a diamond appeared in front of Selene. Selene reached out her hands and grabbed onto the eye. The eye released a powerful explosion of energy tearing Selene's shadow body to shreds. Selene's scream was heard for miles. "What did you do to her?" Belasco demanded at the holographic figure.

Suddenly a ring of light appeared and from that ring slowly appeared a female figure. Selene was reborn and was physical once more. She appeared no longer in her Black Queen garb but what she once wore as High Priestess of Nova Roma. A Beautiful blue toga and a brilliant golden tiara. As Selene emerged, Saturnyne faded away. "I am at full strength once more. Let us make hast my friends. We must defeat this fiend so we can once again be with our loved ones." Selene stated walking up to the end of the dungeon where a metal door stood. She formed a fist and punched the door off it's hinges, sending it crashes in front of her. Belasco and Margali looked at each other. Realizing this new Selene sounded nothing like her. There was something very wrong here. Margali led the way from the dungeon, she had escaped once before and knew exactly where she was going. Belasco walked next to Selene. "Once we are done here my love you can return as my husband and never change back into this horrid exterior." Selene explained wrapping her hand around his arm.

Belasco sent out a telepathic call to Margali who was in front of him. "Selene's mind is becoming unstable. I assume that the only thing that kept her from turning into this world's counter was the fact that she had no tangible body. Now that she does . The longer she is here the more her mind becomes in tangled with this world's fake reality." Belasco explained to the leading Margali. Margali acted as though she didn't hear anything. So Selene would not get suspicious. "Then let us hurry. If Selene truly becomes one with this facade. She will be lost to us. If she becomes our enemy, she must be killed. We cannot have anymore failure." Margali took pleasure in telling Belasco what must be done if Selene's mind truly did become lost in this lie. Margali hated both Belasco and Selene and wouldn't mind killing either one if push came to shove.

The three entered the palace undetected thanks to Margali's magic. "One of our previous mistakes was not keeping ourselves hidden from prying eyes. My spell will keep us completely hidden." They entered Magneto's Chambers to see him, Lorna, Wanda, and Pietro together. They were all dressed like royalty for the Gala today. Suddenly Selene blasted Margali and Belasco to the ground, revealing themselves to Magneto. "Lord Magneto I have brought you evidence of my innocence. I had told you I wasn't the one who betrayed you. I wasn't behind the attacks on you so many years ago. It was my husband, Marcus Lyonheart. He betrayed you and framed me. But I bring them as penance. Please let me and my daughter Neona live in peace once more." Selene explained bending down on one knee. Lorna and Pietro got in front of magneto. "This is obviously a trap, Father." Pietro angrily retorted ready for attack.

"No Pietro it is not. They had me believing some ridiculous tale of another world, another time. But I was too smart for that. Let me leave in peace and return to Nova Roma and I will never show my face here again." Selene continued about her innocence. "Selene do not be a fool. Your mind is being twisted into a lie. We do not wish to harm you but you will leave us no choice." Belasco pleaded to his once lover. "Don't be daft, Belasco. Just hit her and get it done with." Margali yelled as a powerful beam of light exited her hand and struck Selene. Belasco got up and unsheathed his sword and ran at Magneto with his blade above his head. Wanda walked slowly from behind Magneto and faced the coming Belasco. Wanda raised her hand and Belasco stopped in action. "No one will be hurting anyone, anymore." Wanda gently said. She walked up to Belasco and put her hands on his cheeks. "It's over, no more fighting." Wanda's gentle voice entered his ears and his sword dropped from his hands. Belasco got on his knees and looked up at the beautiful, gentle, woman.

Wanda picked up Belasco's sword from the ground and raised it above her head. "No more fighting." She exclaimed as the blade soured down at Belasco, severing his head. She turned her sights on Margali who was battling Selene. The sword floated from her hands and was thrown at Margali. Margali turned around only to be struck in the chest by the sword. "It...it...it can't...end...like...this." Margali replied holding onto the sword as she collapsed to the floor. Selene walked over to Magneto and bent down on one knee. "Do with me as you wish." Selene stated closing her eyes and lowering her head to the floor. "I would leave you be, Selene. If I was positive you would stay your hand in my offers. But unfortunately I cannot." Magneto explained using his powers to raise the sword above Selene. Then he let go, sending the sword's blade falling onto Selene but the second it got to her, she disappeared. Magneto and his children looked around drastically but couldn't find any trace of Selene, Belasco, or Margali. As If they were never there to begin with.

Otherworld:

Selene, Belasco, and Margali appeared next to Neona. All contained in glass cylinders. Roma collapse to the floor, sweating intensively. "Roma, it took too much out of you. Returning them all here and healing their wounds. Your powers are already maxed out trying to keep all this together." Saturnyne explained helping Roma back up. "I know, Saturnyne. But we chose them to help us. I do not see a reason to let them die like this." Roma explained getting up. Saturnyne looked up at the cylinder cases at the unconscious and reluctant heroes. " They failed. Now it's up to the *others." Saturnyne said.
