Don's Thoughts: A classic episode of a classic series. The Ghost Clones were classic villians. The bit with the machine Egon was tinkering with was good. This is the only episode of the series where you can see the Ghostbusters in their original uniforms.
Grade: A+

I thought it held up surprisingly well to the movie...there was the usual watered-down kiddie stuff, but not that much. And believe it or not, the animation on this show was outsourced to TMS, but on a much more limited budget.

I thought it was an ideal bridge between the movie and the cartoon. It also (at least, episode wise) explained why the guys' outfits look so different from what they are in the movie. (It doesn't do anything to explain why the guys look different, though).
It is basically a full episode in the form of a flashback. Since this may be as close as we will get to getting the whole series out on DVD, I'd buy the 2 disc set just to get the eps.

To be honest, even though I watched TRG all the time when it was on, I don't remember this episode at all and didn't even know about it until just two years ago. I was eventually able to see it and thought it was a great episode. I loved seeing how they explained the differences between the cartoon and the movie. (Though I never gave them any thought in the first place.) Still, it was a cool episode, hearing them talk about Zuhl in the cartoon, the Ghost Clones were awesome (too bad they never got action figures), and the joke about "Ramis, Aykroyd, and Murray" sounding like a law firm was funny.

They really should've put the episode "take two" on the disc, that's the one about the making of the movie :)

That's right. I got the "law firm" joke mixed up. I just hope we'll eventually get TRG itself on DVD.

Really a classic episode to a cool classic cartoon.
I don't remember random stuf about the show, it's the first time i watch it in english. The voices seemed fiting, except for Pete, he sounded too much like garfield...
at first i was a little dissapointed but it is a fun show, i would buy a season set. I never thought a cartoon would have such a continuity link with the movies, most other cartoons just don't care.

Yeah, a lot of people think it's a blasphemy to say so, but I prefer Dave Coulier as Peter over Lorenzo Music. I mean, he was fantastic as Garfield, but I just think Coulier's voice fit Peter better.
I usually have no problem with different roles for same voice actors, buy i guess garfield is just too stuck in my mind, i don't know, as i watched, i wondered why his mouth was moving :D or where was garfield :anime:
