American Dragon: Jake Long "The Hunted" ending: Wha....? (Spoilers)

Saw the Hunted recently. Just want to comment on the ending after
Jake revealed himself to Rose/Huntsgirl. Here I am sitting expecting some wangsty Darth Vader-sized "NOOOOOO!" until Jake & Grandpa discuss Rose, and....they're kinda casual about it?! "Rose will make a great ally to us in our later adventures" or something like that??


But somehow, I find myself respecting the ending. I thought it's great that the writers decided to opt for a casual "I'm cool with it" approach instead of T3H ANGST!! type of ending. Still, that doesn't mean we might not see some fall out of Jake/Rose relationship.

What do you think of The Hunted ending?

Rose saw Jake in his human form and ran away. She also left her school leaving Jake with mixed emotions. We still don't know whether or not Rose will make an appearnce in season two.
