Okay, let's motivate this thread into something less negative! Who wants to do a ASJ for August? Any ideas for what sort of Jam and on what theme?

As for the June ASJ, yes it has been slow, but we can only work as fast as our lives and salary allow us to. You get the picture. ;) Any queries on June, please refer to the thread stuck to the top of the forum.

So. Ideas?

It's been quite a while since we had a collaboration in which we pick a phrase and then each take a letter to draw. I'm up for something like that - provided the phrase we pick is long enough to accomodate all the entrants.

Ooo, that sounds fun. I'd like to work on something like that!

Anyone think of a topic to make a phrase from? Something for August? If it could be something other than Summer or Holidays.. we've done those before!

Animated characters on vacation?

Impending Return to School theme?

Animated charcaters feeling the heat(tempeture)?

Those two have potential IMO. The latter could have many contexts to play with.

Any others?

Simply because I have this song by the Go-Gos playing on my Itunes right now, how about...

"VACATION: ALL I EVER WANTED"

There's lots of letters to choose from, and we can draw our favourite characters (originals, too!) doing vacationy things. :)

We can also do something like "BACK TO SCHOOL" or, if the heat idea is preferred, "IF YOU CAN'T STAND THE HEAT, GET ONTO THE INTERNET" or something. :p
