Cause there have been many times on other boards without an edit feature where I post three/four threads, cause I keep remembering things after I've posted...>=]
Yea, I know what you mean. Sometimes on other forums I mispell things, and when I read it over after I've posted it, It's too late to change it. So I'm glad this one has an edit feature. :D

I think you ment to say "you all make is seem like it's some special feature. It is a standard feature on most boards"

well it probably depends on the quality of the forum... some crumy forums dont have edit features... but forums like ikonboard, vbulletien, ultimateBB, and snitz all have edit and whole load of other features... but ikonboard and Vbulletien are the most used... but ikonboard is FREE! :D
yea it's good so people don't have to double post

I'd like to add a suggestion to the Edit feature. While you Edit your post, you're not able to Preview it. Could you add that option too?

I believe this will be an option when version 3 of this forum software comes out. There's nothing I can do about it until then, sorry.

Thx for the answer! Once the next version is out, here's one more minor complaint about the edit feature that I hope could be fixed: Unlike when making a new post, you can't see the previous posts.
And just one more thing that happens in and out of editing too. When you highlight something and use the bold, italize, size-change, etc. it adds a space following the final "]". ie. S omething (with the space appearing between the S and O.

I'm not sure if the edit feature you mentioned will be in the next version, but there's always a chance.
As for the text formating... would you believe that the ability to highlight words and use the code buttons to format them is NOT a standard feature of this board software? I had to hack it in myself. I'm certain this will become a standard feature in the next version, and hopefully they'll do a better job of it than an inexperienced hacker would. :)

I always thought of that as a problem myself.

It's time to hope for the chance. ;)
