I think there's a phantom Fone Bone running around these boards.

This has happened to me two or three times.

I'm scrolling down a page, seeing who has posted. Then, a post flies by that I swear looks like Fone Bone's avatar. Then I scroll back up to read it, and it's gone. Turns out, Fone Bone hasn't posted anywhere in that topic.

Am I going mad, or am I being tormented by a ghostly doppleganger of Fone Bone?

Fone Bone is a very proud member of Toonzone. In a little more than a year, Fone Bone has accumulated over +8,000 post on this board. You can't really miss him in the threads he has posted.

It's a possibility someone swiped his Avatar for some bizzare prank or self-fullfilling joke that only makes sence to said poster.

Strawberry Jam did the same with my Avatar and title for a week or so, couldn't quite figure out why.....

Maybe you need to clean out your temporary internet files? Something like this used to happen to the oekaki board I visited all the time. Pictures would randomly appear instead of pictures that were supposed to be there. In every case it was and error in either the program that made the board or the person looking at it's temporary files.
