Later Dudes,

All good things must come to an end and on July 22nd I’ll be departing Toon Zone as a moderator and possibly as a regular poster. I’ll be giving my spot at the CBC up to some lucky successor. What can I say? The past 4 years here as a moderator have been very interesting at the most and gave me a lot of experience and so many fond stories to tell to my grands when I get older, lol. Eric, Ed and Patrick you guys have been awesome to work with. Over the years we had our share of good times and not-so-good times but at the end of the day I’m happy to say that we had each other as support. We really acted like a much of Justice Leaguers. Clayface being the modest Superman, Ace as the dashing Batman and Random… wow we never gave you an official superhero identity so I’ll dub you The Flash, hahaha (not to be confused w/ the World’s Finest The Flash). The best of luck to you all and may y’all keep running the CBC with your heads up high and keep delivering the fans the good stuff.

To all of those regular posters here at the CBC I’ll miss you guys. CaptainInfinity, Spider-Man, Brainatra, Mister Intensity and to the many others who help make this forum great... thank you. You guys keep us, The CBC Team, motivated and thanks for just supporting the grand world of comic books and making the CBC one of many great places here at Toon Zone.

Fellow TZ moderators! Some I have learned to call amigos. Some I sadly just didn’t get to know at all. SJJ, Barb Gordon, Jim Harvey, Harley, CookieS, TimTwoFace and The Penguin thanks for showing me the ropes when I was just a little rookie barley knowing how to send PMs. Clayface thanks for putting up with my ass. I mean that. We’ve always joked how I was the outspoken one and rebel in the group which is true and there were times when I could’ve shut my mouth and just rolled with the punches but I have a voice and I’m going to use it no matter what the cost. Good luck to you buddy. You’ve prove yourself and to many others that you are quite the leader. To the other moderators and reporters here at TZ best of luck and keep making this place shine!

Now I’ll be leaving this place. I have zero regrets but as a great music legend once said “All Apologies”. That goes out to anybody I may of have crossed paths with and didn’t show my friendlier side too. Ask KyleWayne… I’m a doll once given a cookie or two. I’ll still make the causal pop ups and voice my wisdom (haha, yeah right) on the forums but I’m leaving because I have a baby to nurture. Literally. It’s a girl and she’s a spy and she (http://img219.exs.cx/img219/9200/amberlogo1sd.gif) can kick a lot of ass. Harley has been helping me nurture my baby! By giving her a home. She needs 100% of my full attention right now. Also I’m going to be graduating high school next year and with the whole college thing… I want to focus more on that. So to whomever becomes the next CBC moderator remember the top secret password is “taco” and remember to stroke Ace’s ego about once a month. He likes that.

TTFN and see you all in the funny pages!

Storm,

I remember bringing you into the fold when I still modded this very forum. I knew you had potential and I was glad to see I was right. You really stood out as your own mod, outspoken and brutally honest at times. I know there were a fair share of times when I disagreed with you, but you were confident, and stood by your convictions and never wavered. That's a great character trait, one that will do you good as you head into the future. I wish you the best of luck and I hope you stop by from time to time to check in on our favorite former board, one of the best places online to discuss comics!

I wish you the the best of luck,

-Jim

I only go to this board occasionally, so I'm not really familiar with you. But enjoy your retirement and your baby.

SJJ, Barb Gordon, Jim Harvey, Harley, CookieS, TimTwoFace and The Penguin thanks for showing me the ropes when I was just a little rookie barley knowing how to send PMs. :) Well you're welcome. I almost felt a little weird reading some of your final words, because I find I'm... sad. Not that I wouldn't have missed you, but just not a feeling I was expecting.

I've enjoyed having your on Entertainment, even when the topic was the X-Men films and Storm. :p You always gave a good debate even when we didn't agree. If we all agreed, this type of place wouldn't be any fun now would it?

Until we meet again...

It's been a pleasure Storm. 4 years. Wow. Time goes so fast. Always sad to see an end of an era. I hope the start of the age of Storm/Fray goes well and you keep in touch (as I'm sure you will).

Take care.

Good luck Storm. But it'll be weird here without our resident face of Buffy and X-Men. Irreplaceable, really.

pfffft! Not like you wont pop up here or there... You never REALLY leave this place :p

But, we know that you feel you have other things to concentrate on... and those are more important. Take care of them... but remember you'll always have a home here. :)

Good luck with everything Angel. I hope it all works out. We had some fun working together a couple years back. It's sad that you may be leaving TZ for good, but, as Leela says: "You gotta do what you gotta do." Life goes on, right?

Can't wait to see Amber in action. The project's been a long time coming, but I'm sure it won't disappoint. (no pressure, right? )

Stay in touch,

- Marc
