Effective Monday, August 1, 2005, the only changes to the weekday schedule are The Porky Pig Show and Bugs & Daffy replacing Heathcliff and Magilla Gorilla @ 12 noon CDT, with the weekend marathon subject focusing on Popeye The Sailor. Thursday September 1, which officially launches the 2005-6 Fall Season, will see The New Shmoo replacing Help! It's The Hair Bear Bunch! @ 2:30 pm CDT and Underdog replacing Popeye @ 9:30 pm CDT on the weekday schedule. (Don't know what September's marathon will focus on yet.)

Hmmm...not much of an improvement for my money in either case. Unless Hal Seeger's main/end titles for The Porky Pig Show (http://www.davemackey.com/animation/seeger/porkypigshow/) will be renewed. Anyway, check here (http://alt.cartoonnetwork.com/Schedule/0,3671,BOO|12||Central,00.html?time_zones=Central&date_pick=12) for further details.

Boy, what I wouldn't give to see Boomerang Saturdays again...

Boy, what I wouldn't give to see Boomerang Saturdays again... :shrug:You're not the only one. I miss Boomeraction Sundays, 24-hour show marathons on fridays, AND 1963-1983 Boomerang Saturdays. Hell, i'm starting to miss the old 8-hour rotation (ok, i'll stop ranting). Does anybody notice that Boomerang hasn't shown some shows that they used to lately (Clue Club, Goldie Gold, Mr. T, Dudley Do-Right) as well as others that would be good additions (G.I. Joe, Wait Till Your Father Gets Home, Pound Puppies, Sealab 2020, Kwicky Koala, What A Cartoon!)

I, personally, would like to see the 60-minute compilation shows from the mid-1970s again, e.g., The New Tom & Jerry/Grape Ape Show and The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour. And preferably shown with the original bridging sequences (intros/outros)! :D

Looney Tunes also replace Richie Rich, but it's just a replay of the early morning block which is also apart of the prime time block and again replays in the overnight so technically there will now be four airings of the same block.

I don't understand why they aren't airing stuff like Shirt Tales, Monchichis, Biskits, Pound Puppies, Kwicky Koala (would also fit The Zoo perfectly), etc. These shows would make more sense than Baby Looney Tunes and would fit right in with there aim at younger and younger viewers.
