I was remembering when CN Theatre used to air really good movies like Flight of Dragons and Twice Upon A Time and do you think that CN Theatre should air movies like that again? Instead all of those Pokemon movies and Land Before Time sequels. I would love that.

That's the thing... they may air lots of Pokemon and Scooby Doo movies, but I haven't seen Land Before Time in ages. I'll frequently see something like Ants or Iron Giant, I'm impressed by that alone. I'd like to see them pick up more animated movies (Titan AE!!!), but from a lot of the bad changes on CN, this is something that hasn't been as horrible.

Actually, if they did pick up something like Titan A. E., it would most likely ticketed for a run on [adult swim] instead.

I just saw it drift away. I wondered what happened. I havent seen some of the ones they have shown a couple years back in a horribly long time. Im all for it for coming back it just how many things hace came back from Cartoon Network, not many.

But, yes, it'd be nice if Cartoon Theatre showed good films again. Just not the same films that they've already aired numerously. Once or twice, it should air again. More than ten times, shame on you, Cartoon Network.

The hardest part about Cartoon Theater was keeping fresh movies stocked. They pulled a lot from their own library (Anything Warner Bros), but it seemed that they never had enough new material to make it a weekly ordeal. Personally, I like it more when Cartoon Network airs movies as specials, unless we want to see Pokemon, Scooby, the same old stuff again and again.

Do you think Cool World should air on CN Theater or Adult Swim?

[adult swim] without a doubt. Anyway, back on topic with our mod, CookieS, anything NOT owned by Disney (except for the last four Pokemon movies) or Viacom seems to be fresh fodder for CN to be in their movie slot, and IIRC, that would include American Mouse or Land Before Time movies (owned by NBC/Universal, which does not have a kids' channel) or Fox (no kids channel - remember their botched attempt with Family Channel here in the States before they sold it to Disney?).

Well, CN does air TV PG movies during the day like The Powerpuff Girls Movie, Osmois Jones, Antz, and The Iron Giant. So, it could air during the day as well. I think it would be good to air on Adult Swim because I would think it wouldn't be edited as much rather than on Toonami.

Do you think Willy the Sparrow should air on CN Theater?

The thing about CN Theather is that it's a lot like CN in general now: It only airs the movie that seem to be getting the good ratings (Antz, Pokemon Movies, Scooby Doo Movies) and nothing like it really use to show (American Tail movies haven't been on in awhile for example). And that really sucks IMHO. They have a lot of movies in they're library that I'm sure they still have the rights too and yet they still recycle the same movies. I mean how many times can you see "Aloha Scooby Doo" anyway? That seems to be on at least every other week.

True. I haven't seen them air Quest for Camelot, directly available to them via the Warner Brothers library, once.

Ultra Mike, I agree with you; I'm definately with you on that.
