Ok, I finally decided to change my wallpaper, since I still have a Halloween picture up. So, I went through the old news pages trying to find that Timm group shot of the League, the one with Wonder Woman in the forefront and the cast looking upward at us. Where the heck is it? Could someone link me...?

Just so ya know, that picture above isn't drawn by Timm. It's pretty obvious if you compare it to this pic:

Oddly enough, I think I prefer the one by the house artist!

Say, if it was a WB house artist that drew/painted that, why is it the characters don't quite come out that way on screen? I realize Timm doesn't animate anything, but if that is the work of one of the actual animators that do, I can't understand how the characters look so different on screen!

Are there any Christmas images to be had anywhere? Something done by Ty or Timm, an image or screenshot of the animated universe in Holiday garb celebrating?

I think I like the house artist better, his Batman looks better IMO :)

Are you sure either pic is by Bruce Timm? Neither look like his work. ESPECIALLY that second one. Batman's hands look weird, and so does the placement of Flash's fist.


Edited to clarify...the hands don't exactly look weird, just not Timm-ish. Look at some of his work at the Bruce Timm Gallery and compare. They just don't look the same.

The second pic is indeed drawn by Timm. It'll take me a little bit to find it, but I can find the little write up stating the above picture was drawn by Timm. It was posted on a website ages ago, but if you want I can find it.

Personally I prefer the Timm image. Wonder Woman just looks weird in the 'house artist' picture.

Is there a reason that "House Artist" isn't given credit for his work? Do you know who it is?

I feel that Wonder Woman looks much more human in the house artists' image than in Timm's interpretation. My two major gripes about her appearance in Timm's design and in the show are that her upper torso is too short and her legs are too long, giving her an appearance disturbingly similar to that of Sailor Moon. At least in the house image, she appears strong and proportional (from that angle), though Wally's face is sharpened to a triangle, which doesn't look that great!

DG, do u know of any places where I can find pics like that JL one. I checked World's Finest, and that had a lot, but I was wondering about some other places. thanks
