Episode #65 - A Deal With The Devil
Original Airdate - September 14th, 1996

The former Soviet Union's living weapon, Omega Red, is thawed out by the US Military to deal with an abandoned Soviet nuclear submarine near Hawaii. He asks for his old enemy, Wolverine, and the woman responsible for freezing him most recently, Storm, to accompany him on the mission. Omega Red is offered restored humanity, but once aboard the warhead-filled sub, he reveals his true, deadly intentions.

Since no poor soul has bothered talking about this episode, I'll do my part (like the girl who doesn't have a date for the dance) and give it the time of day.:D

Very good return for Omega Red though I liked his debut just a tad bit more, I loved the continuity set up with Logan and Ororo. And how he turned everything against the world in an instant.

Wolverine had some great lines: "Who do these punks think they're dealing with? Winnie the Pooh."

And his nod to pop culture: "They should just feature this sub in that battery ad with the rabbit.":D

Storm also got one unintentionally funny line in, "Weapons are not supposed to have feelings." Not sure why but I found that to be funny for some reason.

I liked the Red's previous episode more. He did alot more fighting with the X-men than in this one.
But this episode did have pretty good animation.

The US Military ask Wolverine and Storm from The X-Men to go down to the bottom of the ocean with Omega Red to salvage a disabled, toxic nuclear submarine threatening to break up near Hawaii,But Omega Red has other plans for nuclear submarine.

Wait, Akom and Good animation? Seriously, the series' animation is hated because of them (though like I have said before, they do some decent work at times).
