Hasbro toy designers should take some pointers from this. If Hasbro could pump out some of these figures, I'd be shocked. What gets under my skin even more, these are being offered at a fast food chain in Belgium as a free toy, with the purchase equivolent to a happy meal. Sheeshh!

Waaaah!

They're the correct colors. They're articulated. They even include popular villains!

They're in Belgium!

Thanks for finding these, Beyond Batman. Maybe they'll start to show up at Toy Shows here, or more will appear on Ebay at a lower price after a while.

And the ones they haven't released as main figures are the same scale (5 inch)! Yay!

I just saw the "newest" line of Mission Masters figures...good lord..could they get ANY WORSE? That's the 15th time I've seen that Detective Batman sculpt used! It's sad...really..really...REALLY sad..

I think the Quick figures are not that cool Catwoman is as tall as Robin :(

Quick Restaurants are also in France and since I live close to the border, I'm thinking of a short trip to France during the holidays.

BTW Quick is WAY better than McD or Burger King, too bad they don't have these in Germany or in the US.

...and....LOOK, KIDS....they glow....in the dark!!!!!

Sure they could get worse, they could start making clear ones or supplying that green slimy goo and have somekind of gooey series. That might actually be kind of cool with a Clayface figure(assuming the goo was the right color).....nah. Heck, there's a new Batcycle/sidecar repaint coming and a Batplane repaint(the old BTAS mold). There are also rumors of a brand new Batboat coming to TRU. That would have to be a new sculpt unless they pulled out one of the old movie ones and reworked it. And of course the new 4-pack is coming...no confirmation yet on whether it is the Livewire one or the Ras al Ghul one. Finally, the new 9" dolls will be hitting: Clark Kent, Joker, Riddler, Penguin, Mr. Freeze and whoever else was announced. Too bad the Batgirl got cancelled.

I'm a little underwhelmed by the Quick figs. I like Batman, but the sculpting is a little screwy. Still, at least we get a new style Penguin, Ivy and Catwoman. One of the people auctioning these off commented that Batman is 7" tall. Pretty cool, in terms of scale. I've always wished Hasbro would do a 6 or 7" line ala McFarlane Toys.

There is also a line of fast food premiums from the Phillipines which are really cool. They are a series of 4 diorama like units that snap together to form a large playset. Batman, Robin, Penguin, and Catwoman are the figures. Kind of like that old game Mouse Trap since it is an interactive toy.

At the least, I'm glad to see someone out there made articulated figures of the animated series. You can actually pose them rather than profiling them as if they were on a police line-up.

I'm not sure if you've noticed but Hasbro has shafted Batfans time and again with repaint, after repaint, after repaint. Essentially making us not buy a new figure, but buying a new card, accessories, and a rainbow of new colors. These Quick figures were sculpted with much more creativity than Hasbro has ever made. And they even come free with a meal. BTW, HeeHaw, they have made clear ones. Theres a bunch of them in the Batman Beyond line and there are a few in some of those 5 pack JLA figure box sets. As far as the goo goes, I don't think Hasbro designers for Batman are even that creative, believe it or not.

Hasbro makes all the characters of Starwars, background characters and characters you'd probably never notice at all (true to their colors), yet they can't manage to give us anything new out of Batman (that is true to their colors). Hasbro has managed to be creative on Starwars behalf. They have a Jaba the Hut that spews out "green slimey goo..."

For example, we still don't have a normal looking Bruce Wayne yet. BTW, who the heck wears a red/orange trench coat, and how do you conceal a secret identity with such a "target" of a coat???

If anything, they'll throw a new figure in a four pack, just to make us pay more for three other repaints and one exclusive. Hasbro seems to have no respect for us Batfans and it seems their primary market is in Star Wars. I really wouldn't mind repaints, so long as they make up for it with new characters or an even ratio of true colored figures. That would be nice to have an equal amount of true colors to repaints, but if you look at the scale, Hasbro has produced a ton of repaints over true colored characters. Not to mention the lack of introducing new characters.

Back in 1992, with the original BTAS, they had the right idea. Looking at what's available today, what the heck happened? I think these Quick figures are a nice change from Hasbro's never ending circle of repaints. It's just too bad they're not here in the States yet.

I think all that articulation for the animated figures is a bad idea. The arms look really bad on Bats and Supes, and I really don't like how the legs look, either.

Although, they DID make a Flash, new Penguin, and new Catwoman...decisions, decisions...

I don't know if anyone's seen this. Maybe someone from here MADE this. But someone made custom action figures parodying Hasbro's Mission Masters. My favorite is a Batman with a bright red trenchcoat, fedora and cane called: "Street Dandy Batman".

What annoys me even more about Hasbro's seeming inability or unwillingness to produce better Batman and Superman figures is that they refuse to give the license up so we could at least get some cool larger-scale figs from DC Direct.

Of course, the upcoming Pocket Heroes line doesn't look all that great either. I have one of the Wonder Woman promo figures, and I don't think these are worth $10 for two of them. Oddly enough, the Quick figures seem bigger and better articulated.

Oh well. I'd promised myself I wouldn't buy any more action figures anyway.

Yeah, if it came down to having to choose between the Quick figures or the newest Mission Masters figures, I'll take the Quick ones. I mean, just compare the two lines. I apoligize to all the kids who've been waiting for a Batman with teeth that glow in the dark, but MM is crap, plain and simple...
