I guess you can't really complain if this episode has bad writing, can you?

"Ryuhou and Kazuma hold hands and become the best of friends!"
another sad ending but the hilariousness of the episode more then made up for it :)

Please, that's just weak following the hilarity of the Asuka Tachibana episodes.
Mind you, unintentional hilarity, but still....

Hey...I think Williams Street went and re-edited the ending sequences for s-CRY-ed, Samurai Champloo, and Paranoia Agent, so they sound a bit more...normal, even when shortened.

Wow, weird, cheesy, and...sad? All in the same episode?
Not to mention the whole script inside a script thing! You just know something is wrong when Kazuma willingly joins HOLY and fully enjoys it. Of course, the real uncontrolled Kazuma wrecked it in the end.
And then we have the sad ending. After all of that, his alter friends are being flown to who knows where. That'll cause some trouble for him, no doubt.
8/10

This was a a very funny episode with a sad ending.
But the cheese factor was off the scale in this episode. :zim:
I think the person who wrote the script for this episdoe is a John Candy fan.
And the pink fro is evil... In a good way.

Cause you know...his balls just go everywhere LOL
Anyways,
What was so bad about this episode? I thought it was funny as hell! I didn't like the parts where the guy was talking about his script, talk about ANNOYING, but it was awesome when Kazuma tried to beat the crap out of th fake Ryhou.
Holy are truly bastards, those poor altar users, I bet they are being sent somewhere bad. I thing its funny when the one blue haired girl is trying to get Ryhou's attention but really he doesn't pay attention. I think We are going to be seeing a relationship develop between Mimori and Kazuma :)!
I give it a B+

Heh, this was pretty fun to watch. You just knew Kazuma was gonna break from the script eventually, but watching him go through it was humorous.
I give Mad Script a B+.
Kinda surprised Kazuma didn't reach the airplane. So I guess Kazuma's the only Alter User outside the city...
How exactly did he escape, again? He's all out of bullets, Ryoma's not that far away, and Afro-guy's about 20 feet behind him...

Pretty odd episode, didn't really like it. Also not as funny as the last few eps.
I'd give it a D

The script writer alone was worth this week's price of admission. Maybe I should hire him as an understudy... two writers together are better than one.
The sad ending though was a downer. Who does Kazuma have left on his side now? Very little, if anyone...
7.5 out of 10 for "Mad Script."

I was thinking the same thing. I'm thinking that Kozuma might still be in a script. I mean, the dialogue in the last scene did seem kind of fake...then again, this is S-cry-ed.

*Not a direct quote. If you're referring to the girl who has those dreams, then it's because the script that Kazuma was trapped in either blocked the wavelength that happens when she dreams about Kazuma or caused her to not see him as the heroic person that he usually is in these dreams.

My own interpretations of the 'no-dreams' comment...
Normally, the episodes are what she sees in her dream, of what actually happened... But since everything in a MAD SCRIPT environment didn't technically happen at all (that's why Kazuma still had all three bullets for his escape after he used them in the dream), this is the only episode that she didn't see...

Ryuho's reaction to Kazuma's eating: priceless.
Is that Michael McConnohie? Schwartzwald goes from searching for memories to controlling thoughts
OH NO! KAZUMA HAS ANGERED DA 'FRO!
I wouldn't count out those captive alters just yet. Kazuma will rescue them, unless this show pulls a Blue Gender.
Hm, I wonder if Unke was controlling that final dialogue between Zigmar and Ryuho? Nah.
