I have read the episode lists and assumed plots, but I didn't notice a highlight Hawkgirl episode in there. I know there are supposed to be episodes starring each of the individual characters, but where's hers?

I just can't wait until I get to see "Paradise Lost" and "Injustice for All", which may be never since no Canadian channels broadcast it ..yet

I think the Fury episode will be her highlight episode.

I'm guessing that HG's spotlight episode may end up being "Legends" since only four of the members will be going back in time to meet the JGA (Hawkgirl, Flash, J'onn, and I forget the fourth member). Well at least she has a 1/4th chance of it being her spotlight ep. :D

For the life of me I can't remember what that ep will be about. Could you do me a favor and post a synopsis?

I was just guessing about the Fury episode. I haven't seen a write up for it yet. Where did you hear that only 4 members were going back in time?

I got it when one of the posters with some sort of inside info (I think it was nothing) posted a very brief summary of each episode (read no spoilers).

So which one is the "Fury" ep?

How did I miss that post? Do you know how I could find it? Sorry I can't help you, I have no what Fury is about.

It took some digging but I found the thread where I got the info. http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13242 It's towards the bottom of the first page. It's basically spoiler free, just listing who the major villain is and sometimes which League members are in the ep.

And the reason I couldn't remember which episode "Fury" is going to be is because no descriptions have been given for it yet. Silly me. :D

Oh, and GL is the fourth member to go back during "Legends."

Your welcome. :)

For all we know "Fury" could be HG's spotlight ep. As we've quickly learned, when in battle HG definitely has the RAGE (tm) going on. So out of all the League members "Fury" is a title that best describes her.

Or I could be completely wrong. Can anyone think of golden (or silver) age villains with Fury in their names? Particularly ones that are due for a good revamp?

Fury (Golden Age), Fury (Silver Age), Miss Fury (non-DC; oh well), Green Fury (Fire), and Female Furies (whom we've already seen is STAS). :yakko: :wakko: :dot: :bosko: The first 4 are heroes, though. Female Furies might make an interesting eppy. :)

I hope that the episode that focuses on Hawkgirl takes place on Thanagar, has Hawkman making a guest appearance, and explains why she's defending Earth instead of Thanagar.

Anyone else got any extra thoughts? ;)

Oh, I have an idea! Why don't they make an episode with Hawkgirl like this:

The parasite aliens led by the Imperium ("Secret Origins") are found to now be invading Thanagar. (We saw their ship leave Earth, so they weren't defeated permanantly; they were just driven off Earth.) So, since that's her homeworld, AND she's fought the Imperium before, she goes back to Thanagar to help stop the invasion. Of course, she takes a few JL members with her (Superman, GL, Martian Manhunter ?).

Now, when she gets there, we viewers discover that she was one of the best cops on Thanagar, and while she's been gone, Hawkman has taken her place as "top cop." (He and the city she worked in isn't happy about her leaving either. It's like Batman going to another planet, and leaving Nightwing to take his place permanantly!). So, in that sub-plot thread, we learn WHY Hawkgirl is defending Earth and not Thanagar. (Why is this, anyway? I have no explanation for that one. Anyone got any ideas?)

In summary, we get to see the Imperium make a "last stand" (we could kill them off permanantly this time), we get to see Hawkman, we get the background on Hawkgirl, we get to see Thanagar, AND we get some cool action sequences at the same time. Dini & Timm could do this in 2 episodes! :D

(Man, I wish sometimes they'd let me write for the show... I'd LOVE it! :p )

Vandal Savage's episode is the time travel one, I think. I really hope "Fury" is the Kawkgirl episode. She is a great addition to the League and is just a great character. The title of "Fury" just fits her.

Well according to HG's VA the League goes back in time in "Legends". According to nothing (man, that's just strange to type) The League members will be going back in time/crossing over to a parallel dimension in "Legends."

So I'm guessing that "Legends" is the time travel ep. And here's a thought: Vandal Savage is an immortal, the League doesn't have to travel to the past to get smacked around by Savage. :bosko: However the JGA is in the past so the League has to travel through time to meet them.
