Justice League Gag Commercials on Cartoon Network?

At some point I'd love to see Cartoon Network make some funny spots with the Justice League (or any of the characters from the four series that they now air). For example, what if they followed Captain Cold, Black Manta, and Giganta to a Legion of Doom reunion, but all the characters there are the redesigned versions from the Justice League or Batman/Superman Adventures?

Does anyone have another idea for a gag commercial?

I wouldn't worry, once the "Aquaman and Friends Hour" (or whatever it's going to be called) starts on Adult Swim there should be plenty of Superfriends mockery. :D


I'd like to see a commercial where Brainiac gets his pants.

Or a series of "try outs" by Superfriends characters that didn't make it into JL.

And a fight with Wendy, Marvin & Wonder dog vs. The Wondertwins & Blip where the only winners would be the audience.

I don't want to see "funny" JL bumpers. That show's characters aren't really made for that kind of thing, at least not the type of ones the do for the Cartoon Cartoons. Maybe if they did some like Kids WB did for Batman tho....

Someone on Usenet suggested that they have one where the new Aquaman discovers the all of the parodies of him CN has done and tracks down those responsible. I think that'd be pretty funny. Start out with something like him in front of a TV with the rump-shaking Aquaman on it, watching it with a scowl on his face.

I have to say Bruce Wayne singing the Jigglypuff song is still pretty damn funny. I think the JLers could be in some gag comercials...they make great straight men (or women)

Legion of Doom reunion is funny... ho about a Women Heroes meeting where Hawkgirl, JL WW, Batgirl, and Supergirl meet and either Wendy or Zayna is there making optomistic comments. The others would start to get fed up with her and beat her up. In the background, behind a door, we hear, "Wait! Stop! Somewhere a helpless deer has a broken leg! Aren't we going to save it?" That would be awesome. :D

I think I missed the joke.....just sounded violent to me.

I wouldn't mind seeing CN do something ala KidsWB, and have all of the toonami characters interacting. Course, Toonami changes lineups every 3 weeks..

I still wanna see a Goku Superman matchup...course, I like seeing Superman get beat up.
