Did Alan Moore do a run on Hellblazer? I read an article that mentioned his comic-to-movie transition duds as LXG and Constantine, but the writer names I turn up are Ennis, Ellis, Azzarello, etc.

Howdy,

Moore never wrote Hellblazer, since he had severed his ties from DC long before the title came out. His JC only showed up in the pages of Swamp Thing.

Shamless Self-Aggrandizement: Check out the Constantine Primer (http://news.toonzone.net/article.php?ID=4554) article TZ News just put up! It's a revised and updated version of the rambling and incoherent thing that showed up here when the movie debuted in theatres. With sample JC comic page scans, even!

Wow, it is truly amazing the amount of sloppy research that's done when articles are written about superhero movies. Where did that journalist come up with the idea that Moore had a hand in Hellblazer anyhow? Though, to be fair, he (she?) didn't tie Hellblazer to Moore; he tied Constantine to Moore and never mentioned Hellblazer. Thanks Ace. I thought I just wasn't looking hard enough.
