Who's your favorite Columbia/Screen Gems cartoon star?
I voted for the Fox and the Crow, because it's one of the funniest and most outrageous cartoon series ever. I LOVE those cartoons! My four favorites in the series are "The Fox and the Grapes," "Plenty Below Zero," "Mr. Moocher," and "Tollbridge Trouble."
BTW, This poll doesn't include the UPA cartoon stars or HB's Loopy De Loop.

The only cartoons on the list I have actually seen are the Fox and the Crow... so I guess they get my vote. They are funny. Has anyone here, besides Jerry Beck, actually seen a "Flippy" cartoon?

I voted for the Fox and Crow as well.
The cartoons are pretty funny, there aren't any that I dislike, and the Fox's voice is hilarious. I find it amazing that they discontinued the characters so early, even UPA's "Robin Hoodlum" is fun to watch. The cartoons can get pretty imaginative, though I wouldn't say they are as wild as some of the WB cartoons of the period. It's a mystery why they were kept off TV for so many years. Some also have the sorts of revolutionary background stylings that Jones, Tashlin, and McCabe were doing at the time.
I don't like the later voices, though. The ones used in the Katz-Binder era. Too me, giving the Fox a dopey voice was a bad move. "Grape Nutty," a fine cartoon, would have been funnier with the earlier voices.
They'd make good spokesmen for "Grape Nuts Cereal." :p
Wouldn't mind seeing the other Fox and Crow cartoons, as well as the Scrappy, Krazy, Flippy, etc. films.

The Fox and Crow get my vote too. I like some of their cartoons more than some of the WB and MGM cartoons. My favorite is "Mr. Moocher". No Jon, I've never seen a Flippy cartoon, but I do have a Flippy comic book.

I have some "Krazy Kat" cartoons and have seen a few "Scrappy" shorts, but The Fox & Crow win hands down!!
My favorite:
3-way tie between "The Fox & The Grapes", "Tollbridge Troubles" & "Be Patient, Patient" (love the end gag in "Be Patient, Patient") :D

As much as I love Krazy Kat, I had to go with "The Fox And Crow" on this poll. They were one of the greatest cartoon teams in animation history.
