Fun but useless FF findings?

Has anyone discovered something in an FF game that's fun but kind of useless? I discovered that you can enter the Deling City Sewers in the first Laguna dream sequence in FF8. With Laguna,you can only fight Red Bat and Creeps (Black ghost thingies) there but no Grand Mantis. I really like doing this for some reason. Maybe it's because you can fights bats and evil shadows to disco music.

Yeah, VIII has a lot of odd things like that. There's one point where you can play the card game with Zell. (and he isn't very good :p )

The first time you go to Costa Del Sol in FF7. IF you don't have Red XIII in your party, you can kick the soccer ball to him and he'll get pissed. Quite amusing.

Depending on Tifa's love rating for you, several dialogue boxes toward the end of FF7 will vary. When Tifa stays with the invalid Cloud and her rating is high, the nurse will remark "She must really love him." The "night below Highwind" scene of FF7 will also vary....how much you've used Tifa in battle and made decisions that please her will determine how far she'll go. :o
