so, how often do you catch reruns now?

When i was little if i liked the show i would always watch it, even if it was a re-run. I don't know why.
But now, the shows i like i rarely watch reruns, unless i really really liked it. If i haven't watched the show in a long time/a while then i don't mind it.

I capture re-runs a lot. Through the power of CN UK.

The most repeated repetitive re-runs I ever seen are between most cartoons from Tex Avary-era Tom & Jerry and the PowerPuff Girls episode where the girls get addicted to candy as their reward and decides to get Mojo Jojo to keep destroying townsville so they can defeat Mojo and collect their reward. I seen that episode so much up until 2004.

The 3rd most repeated cartoon I seen was my favourite Daffy Duck cartoon of all time, "Duck Amuck".

Anyway, yes I do watch a lot of reruns no matter how tired I get from them or not.

So, that answers that question.

P.S. Off Topic: sdp, excellent sig. :shame:

Reruns, yes, for awhile. I like that CN will run a show a couple of times in case I miss it. I'll watch a new show a few times. A good series like teen Titans I'll watch when I can. I like the anime cycle Adult Swim does with FLCL and Cowboy Bebop. Some of the shows I've watched to death like Futurama and King of the Hill I rarly watch. And while I really like classic BugsBunny and DaffyDuck, I don't think I'd sit through them anymore.

I think it's weird that people in general (including me!) have such high tolerance for watching the same thing over and over again ... but then again, I suppose we'll listen to the same song repeatedly, too, so how are rerun TV shows all that much different (well, yes, okay, rerun TV shows are usually a lot longer ... shush ;))? At any rate, I guess there are a lot of things I'll watch in rerun no matter how many times I've seen them before - usually it's just that my TV is on in the background for the sake of the noise, I'm not really sitting down to watch ... but on the other hand there are certain cartoons (Ed, Edd n Eddy has been the "big" one for me since, shoot, 2001 or so?) that I'll watch every single time I catch it on. It is fun to pick up on new "little details" - and in shows like EEnE there do seem to be a lot to catch! - but I must admit that with most of the shows I watch repeatedly ad nauseam, not only are most of the lines burned indelibly into my brain, but the music and sound effects as well ... that just can't be good but there ya go =)

I don't watch reruns unless the episode was something I especially liked. My time is precious.

I'll watch if it's an episode they haven't played to DEATH, or it's been awhile since I've seen it, or I liked it enough to not mind how much they play it.

Some examples:

I love Jimmy Neutron but Nick has put it on overkill. I rarely watch now.

I'll watch Futurama almost always, unless they've played it too much.
