BURBANK, CA (December 13, 2001) ó On Saturday, December 8, Pokémon: Johto League Champions, in its 10:00 a.m. ET time period, dominated all Saturday morning competition, ranking #1 for the morning in Boys 6-11 (7.0/28) and #2in Boys 2-11 (5.5/21). The animé-adventure series ranked as the #1 broadcast program for the morning in Kids 2-11 (4.1/15) and Kids 6-11 (5.0/19). At 8:00 a.m. ET, Pokémon: Johto League Champions finished #1 among the time period broadcast competition in Kids 6-11 (2.3/15), Boys 2-11(2.5/16), Boys 6-11 (3.6/23) and Girls 6-11 (1.0/6). The series posted outstanding gains over the parallel time period a year ago among Kids 2-11
(+23%), Kids 6-11 (+53%), Boys 2-11 (+67%) and Boys 6-11 (+125%).
Kids' WB! continued its strong lead over Nickelodeon as the #1 network in Boys 6-11 (4.8/20), achieving a 2% ratings increase and 5% share increase over the parallel week last year. The network ranked as the #1 broadcast network in Kids 2-11 (2.8/11), Kids 6-11 (3.5/14) and Boys 2-11 (3.7/15). Among Kids 2-11, Kids' WB! beat Fox Kids (2.3/9), ABC (1.8/8) and CBS
(1.6/7).
For the week of December 3-7, Kids' WB! topped the broadcast competition to rank as the #1 network among Kids 2-11 (1.5/8), Kids 6-11 (1.6/11), Boys 2-11 (1.8/10), Boys 6-11 (2.0/13), Girls 2-11 (1.1/6) with a 10% ratings increase and Girls 6-11 (1.2/8) with 33% ratings/share increases. For the week, Pokémon: The Johto Journeys (M-F 4:00 p.m.) led the broadcast competition to rank as the #1 program in Kids 2-11 (1.9/10) and Boys 6-11 (2.6/15). Pokémon: The Johto Journeys and Jackie Chan Adventures (M-F 4:30 p.m.) tied as the #1 broadcast program in Kids 6-11 (2.0/12 and 2.0/10), Boys 2-11 (2.3/12 and 2.3/11) and Girls 2-11 (1.4/7 and 1.4/6). Cardcaptors (M-F 3:30 p.m.) took the #1 broadcast program spot among Girls 6-11(1.4/10), tying with Pokémon: The Johto Journeys (1.4/8) and Jackie ChanAdventures (1.4/7).
