Nebula's Secret Base
(Japanese title: Decisive Battle! Nebula Base)
Lan and Chaud rush to Dr. Regal's hideout, which turns out to be on a tanker in the middle of the sea. When they arrive by helicopter, viruses appear and begin to attack the tanker itself! This is an attack from ShadeMan who is frenzied over Regal's betrayal.
R MegaMan and R ProtoMan fight against ShadeMan, but they are unable to maintain the power of Cross Fusion. Determined to kill all of the humans, ShadeMan tries to make the tanker explode by attacking it's energy core inside the net...

NOTES:
-First apperances of LaserMan and SwordMan
-This episode ends the first half of Axess.
-The actions caused by one of our heroes leads to dire results, and something they'll have to cope with for almost the rest of Axess...(As in an important plot point, so don't miss this one!)

And next week, we get a bit of filler as Lan has to guard a fashion show of all things...however don't miss it anyways, due to it showing the "dire results" mentioned above slowly taking form...
(Also, Lord Terminal, would you mind taking care of the talkback for me next week? I'll be coming back from vacation then, which means I'll end up missing it...)

Ouch. I'd be honored to. But unfortunately, I've got vacation myself. In fact, I'm lucky to have caught you in time. Okay let's get this done with:
Think this is just a simple rescue mission for Lan and Chaud? HELL NO! Not if Shademan has anything to say about it. He's got his Dimensional Converters I mean Area Generators up and running for his nasty surprise for Doc Regal. We also get the first true battle betwitched Net Savers and the vampire. Nothing like last time. Oh and you may know who the Mysterious Man is, but ever hear of his Navi? ::bumbumbum dramatic reverb:: It's definately a must see episode. Especially if you're Mighty and and a Bojingo. (Yes, he's been asking for this for some time. So he better damn well be happy to finally see it happen now.)
That's all for this week. See when I get back from North Carolina.

You bet I've been waiting for that. I wonder if he's got any left to go... I can think of at least 2 more that he's been through in the games but not sure if they're important enough to be part of the show.
On a side note, will MetalMan make any more guest appearances in future episodes? I always loved watching him in battle. He's my favorite Navi. In the 3rd and 4th installment of BattleNetwork, I constantly overabused MetalMan, whether it was just a MetalMan Navi chip or the MetalMan DoubleSoul, it didnt matter, i loved him.

I don't normally post anything in these Megaman talkbacks, but this ep was totally shocking!!!!! Chaud having no other option but to use that horrible dark-chip on Protoman! :( At least, Megaman now has ProtoSoul and Shademan is no more, finally. Also, I'm glad to see Anetta is safe.:)

Wow, what a fight! Shademan just kept coming. Dark-Protoman, Lazerman, Swordman, and Proto-soul, too.
Looks like Shademan's out of the picture for the moment, but I can't wait to see what Lazerman can do.
10/10

Like Viper, I don't normally do these, but man! What an episode! Dark Protoman debuts ( ), we get a new Doublesoul, and we see the (apparent) end of Shademan. Poor Chaud. But, I guess it had to be done. Only complaint: I kept waiting for Anetta's Navi to somehow turn up, but it never happened.
Overall: 10/10. Awesome ep!

This episode was really packed with stuff going on from the get go! I hope Shademans not gone for good, I doubt it. So Lazerman is Dr. Regals Navi, I thought he might have cross fused until he logged out.
I like the music for Shademan, I noticed bubble man wasn't with Lazerman so maybe he will try to get Shademan back. I feel bad for Chaud, I hope something can be done for Protoman.

We won't be seeing Anetta's Navi ever again. In the original verison, the hospitial computer was infected with a Dark Aura, so Silk sucked it out into her or something. When ProtoMan came along, she begged him to delete her, but he refused, so she impaled herself on his sword and self-deleted.
As for the Souls,
MegaMan does get all the EXE 4 Souls before the end of Axess, but right now in Stream they're halfway through and he's only gotten one EXE 5 Soul so far.
I don't think MetalMan reappears again, I'm afraid. As for ShadeMan, all I'll say is that we haven't seen the last of him...
As I said before, there will be no talkback for next week unless someone else can take it. Its just a filler ep though as I said, though be sure to watch it anyway, as a little bit of the Dark ProtoMan story continues. The week after next will be another one to watch, as things get even worse for ProtoMan as they are now...

Shademan showed his power could never be handled in one on one combat. It took a double program advance to weaken him, and then he came back for more and absolutely owned Megaman and Protoman. I hope Protoman isn't gone for good though. He's turned into Dark Protoman, but not without leaving Megaman with the power I've been waiting to see all season: ProtoSoul Double Soul. It's a shame that Megaman will have to fight one of his best friends now.
It also looks like Laserman is defintley a netnavi not to be doublecrossed, and with Protoman on his side, he won't be going down easy. I hope Kids WB! will actually air the entire season before fall arrives.

Aren't Internet Cafe's great? Looks like I'll be able to get you that talkback after all J.E. But first, to answer some questions:
Shademan showed his power could never be handled in one on one combat. It took a double program advance to weaken him, and then he came back for more and absolutely owned Megaman and Protoman. I hope Protoman isn't gone for good though. He's turned into Dark Protoman, but not without leaving Megaman with the power I've been waiting to see all season: ProtoSoul Double Soul. It's a shame that Megaman will have to fight one of his best friends now.
Dark Protoman gets even worse later on than he is now. And he's pretty much here to stay for a while. He's one bad *******, I can tell you that
It also looks like Laserman is defintley a netnavi not to be doublecrossed, and with Protoman on his side, he won't be going down easy. You have no idea........Just wait until the Season Finale
If you've played BN4, you'd probably have a good idea of how he fights and what his attacks are. (And no it's not just shooting lasers. There's more to it than that.) Useless fact: Laserman is a winner of contest Capcom holds in Japan for children to design boss navis. Every game has three of them since BN3. Laserman made top place along with Videoman and Kendoman. (The latter of which will not appear in the anime. He belongs to Famous and they have rule about not giving that man a Navi in the show)
So Lazerman is Dr. Regals Navi, I thought he might have cross fused until he logged out.
Hmmmm.....Laserman Crossfusion? Well, Regal IS a creative evil genious. Who knows?
I like the music for Shademan, I noticed bubble man wasn't with Lazerman so maybe he will try to get Shademan back. I feel bad for Chaud, I hope something can be done for Protoman.
Shademan's pipe organ music is actually his theme music from the original version too. And yes Bubbleman is sticking by Shademan's side for good. I have no clue what gave Kids'WB the idea to skip the Bubbleman Friendship episode. It may be a filler but it basically tells everyone why Bubs is so loyal to Shademan-sama. To him, Shademan is the only Darkloid that Bubbleman saw as a friend and he gave him a token of that friendship in the form a plastic bottle cap (like you see on those milk jugs at some places featuring CN characters) in his likeness. (Basically, it's Bubbleman in a Rush suit. I still don't know where gets all of this merchandise.) This continues even Stream and yes Bubbleman does try to get Shademan free. But sadly he fails and "someone else" gets the job done.)
