Eh, I had planned on posting this up here when Champloo debuted...aha whoopsie!

For this, I did my best to make it seem as if Mugen, Jin, and Fuu were pressing outwards to the television screen (yea, its a wide-screen. You got a problem with that, pal?). Forgive the shading job on Fuu's hands, since I'm not entirely sure how to shade hands when pressed against glass. Also added in tv-scan lines to make it look more tv-like.
(I was trying to find a filter, other than the obvious Grain and Color Half-Tone, to make it look like a tv screen, but to no avail.)
Done in Adobe PS7.

(Also was inspired to do this from a certain Cowboy Bebop picture that has a similiar concept)

Very much cool, even though I'm not a Champloo fan. Interesting concept, and it's done very well.

Hey there again, AkirQueen! I absolutely love this, as I love Champloo (by the way, great Fuu cosplay at devart!)

Again, you show great talent for sticking to the series style and absolutely kick-butt coloring skills. As for the hands, I guess they're colored the same as the rest of the body would be up against the glass (slightly lighter) though I concede difficulty in finding out just how. Love that expression on Jin's face; he's so stoic otherwise that it's nice to see him with a just "WTF?" expression once and awhile.

I can't wait to see more of your work!

Excellent colouring (and drawing, of course*). You did a terrific job making them look squished against the glass, too. I could never accomplish such a feat...

This is choukawaii and sugokusugoi! I've only seen Samurai Champloo in NewType, but I can tell you've got the style down pat. Way to go~**

LOL!!

Its an appropriate take off of that Cowboy Bebop pic, since the three characters all have a very similar dynamic :p

Fuu's expression is hilarious :D

Great work! :)

Thank you! ^^
Like I've said, I have a habit of making each anime fanart looks as official as I can.
Creating Jin's expression was actually pretty difficult. I wasn't sure whether or not to give him just a "What the-?" look or just his occasional closed-eyes and eye-brow twitch XD

I also salute your pic (in addition to your cosplay skills). Funny stuff (the pic, I mean).

i only recently started watching the show. i have no idea what is up with the "hip/hop" angle the show takes. i think it actually drags the show down in my opinion. anyway, your drawing is absolutely adorable! especially fuu! ...awwwwwwwwwwwww

Anyhow.

Cool stuff you have there! It's wonderful to see Anime on here! I just love a good anime drawing (especially when it's Champloo).

Can't say I've seen Champloo (Though I am interested in watching it), but this is good work. Keep it up.
