World Wrestling Entertainment has signed former WCW Hardcore Champion to a deal and he'll be debuting this Monday at the SmackDown! house show in Portland, Maine. The belief is that Vito will be put with Nunzio as a tag team.

Vito, who worked enhancement for WWF when he was first breaking in under his original ring name Skull Von Krush, had a brief run in Extreme Championship Wrestling as one of "Da Baldies". He was brought into WCW as Mamalukes by longtime friend Vince Russo. He also had a brief run in TNA, feuding with "Irish" Pat Kenney.

Vito, a Staten Island, New York naitive, was originally trained by Johnny Rodz. Awesome news. Vito is a great talent, and a great human being. I have talked to him on numerous occasions, and he was always a class act. I am extremely happy to hear this. I can't wait to see him debut! :)

So they release Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli last fall, leaving Nunzio by himself and now they pick up Big Vito for the same role? WWE must be confused on which was the more promising, younger and athletic member of The Mamalukes.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind Vito, but the backward way that brings us to the third WWE version of the F.B.I. makes little to no sense.

As for Vito, him and Nunzio could be fodder for MNM and whatever other heel Smackdown team there is.

I wish they still had Stamboli. An F.B.I. consisting of Nunzio, Stamboli, and Vito would have been class.

Vito isn't the greatest wrestler, but the guy can talk on the mic and as Dork Knight said he is a great guy and has a passion for the business. I like the idea of the new F.B.I. thus far with WWE recently signing Big Guido as well, we could see Nunzio go back to being Little Guido and coming out via Big Guido shoulders (although I prefer Big Sal E. Graziano).
