The first few seasons were, how do I put this, "kinda stupid". Later on, when Al Bundy is always making fun of people, it got really funny. He had alot of jokes about his wife's(Peggy's) Mom. Too bad it was cancelled.

The worse thing about the cancellation was that they didn't get to do a final show. The series was going downhill, for sure, but I feel like Fox owed it and the fans at least that. I mean it was one of their first hits, back in the days when all they had was that Werewolf show with Chuck Conner, Tracy Ullman, and 21 Jump Street.

I think it would have been cool if they ended it with them all driving off a cliff or something. Kinda like "The Young Ones."

i am a big Married...With Children fan. I've been imitating Al Bundy for years. "Played football. Polk High. Four touchdowns in one game."

The final be-all-and-end-all episode--at least for me--would be the one where Al sells his soul for another chance at gridiron glory to Satan (played by Robert "Freddy Krueger" Englund, who also costarred with Ed O'Neill and Andrew Dice Clay in The Adventures of Ford Fairlane) and the Bundys and D'arcy's end up in hell. Though the last one broadcast officially was Kelly planning to marry a dumber-than-feces Weenie Tots heir who was robbing the house with a female accomplice...and by production number, the last one made was with Amanda Bearce playing a duel role as Marcy and her gay cousin Mandy. She is actually gay, I learned. Incidentally, I just saw her--in her youth and very attractive--on AMC last night in Fright Night, with the young William (Herman's Head) Ragsdale.

What ever happened to that Seven kid, anyway? His father was played by comedian Bobcat Goldthwait, who was in a couple of those Police Academy movies with Bubba Smith, who appeared twice on MWC, once as himself and earlier as an old rival of Al's....

"Married With Children" was quite a fun show. I loved all the ribald humor.

What is the importance of "Dice" by the way?

I'll tell you!

He's important to the WBC, for he is the inspiration for frequent fanfiction villain Mikey. Fellow New Yorker Marisa Tomei is the inspiration for Mikey's lover and fellow ninja goon Sheryl.

Sincerely,

well i am a HUGE!!! married w/ children fan. it was actually the first prime time show i ever made it a point to watch regularly, back when i was really you (and my parents never approved of my watching it).

it the best sitcom of all time, imo. but the last 3 seasons were pretty bad, especially the last 2. it was on a downward spiral, no doubt, but i still watched every ep all the way till the very end, as a loyal bumdy fan.

i think i liked it so much cause it was funny, smart, and like a live action cartoon. makes sense that i'd like it. and recently i've been catching it more and more on upn repeats, and they're showing the old episodes, which makes me happy!! peace.

WHOOAAAAAAAAAAAAA BUNDY!!!!!! hehehehe.
