I doubt she could hurt Supes without using the mace. In any case, some Hawk-people had superstrength, though it was variable. Superstrength almost always comes with some degree of supertoughness.

As for Batman, of course they aren't going to give him powers!!

The GL corps are not necessarily made up of being with super strength, invulnerability, etc. Their weapons are their minds and will-powers. None of the earth GL's had super physical abilities. Without their rings they really wouldn't put up much of a fight for a strong fighter like HG. The animated versions of the superheroes in JL are not exactly how the comics have portrayed them in the past (or the present). Their abilities and powers have been eithe rincreased, decreased, or tweaked in some way to fit the animated world.
