I agree! Plus the art was done by Neil Vokes. As Salvor and many SUPERMAN ADVENTURES readers know, is quite possibly the worst animated artist ever to grace the face of the earth. That pic is realy...well...risque (I guess) and not the well done to be honest. I coughed up better looking things than that.

By God, that picture really is horrendous!

I draw for a living, and I thank God for giving me the talent to do so. But I get so angry when I see artists getting paid to produce trash like that. Now I know that not everybody can be a Mike Parabeck, Rick Burchett, or Tim Levins (believe me, I've tried!) - but can't DC at least employ somebody who can hold a ******* pencil? Jeez, it's so frustrating when I think of all the talented guys who can't find work, and this guy's getting paid to rush of drivel like that...

I apologise if this rant proves distasteful to some, but I just had to vent my anger. Sorry... :mad:

i looked it up cause i had to see it for myself, and i gotta say, that's a pretty tasteless picture, added, and i'm not a perfect artist, it just doesn't seem very well done. i mean, it bears little resembelence to inque's human form. like i said, i'm no where ner a great artist and probably shouldn't criticize, but i figured i'd add my two cents worth...

I don't know. I saw it and I didn't have the same reaction as all of you. It was definitely tasteless - I could have done without the nudity. But I thought the drawing was pretty damn good actually - very cool style, well drawn, and it looked identical to the human form of Inque, in my opinion. Don't know why you all had such a problem with it. If it had been just a head shot, I would have been interested in purchasing it myself!

Well, to be honest, since you didn't like that other pic, I'm not sure I'd like your style. I'm guessing we have differing opinions on what a "cool" pic is.

Inque's a he. The Inque character is a she. Inque (he) just has a thing for shapeshifting ppl, and Inque is the only shape-shifting character that wasn't taken. That's just my oppinion anyway..

oh, and hey Inque, I found that plastic toy thing again that I bought back in february for you..don't worry..if all goes well, I should have it off in a week.. IF...lol

I think it is a common mistake we all make from time to time. There are no places in our personal profiles where we can say what sex we are, and sometimes males pick female characters as either their avatar or user name or both, and vice versa. Kylewayne, I believe, is a female, right? Yet I would have never guessed that with a name like Kylewayne. (I think I got it after she responded to one of my theads and complained about MEN, can't live with them, can't live without them!) So don't feel too bad. I've made similar mistakes a few times in the past.

To be honest, I was suprised that Inque was of the male persuasion, also, when I first ran into him online. I think it hapen quite frequently. ometimes it is easy to figure who's who by their handle, but sometimes...

I don't think I ever made that mistake on Inque 'cause I met him in the chat....but I've made the mistake w/ other peeps...

And on the note of the board tweekings... I must say that this smiley -->:o looks like it got it's food around it's face. The supergrin needs to be green!!! It just looks so much more happier that way! :p <----makes me think of a froggy...:mad: <---that was in fine....the pale yellow doesn't work for me ^^; and neither does the diff colors for new posts w/ more replies/views....too confusing @_@

hey.....i haven't been around lately...... i found the pic on ebay..... and i think its ugly. even if it was just the headshot........ it still doesn't look right. it's really pointy and geometric. it doesn't have the round curves.

hey frozen......i'd love to see your pic.

hey bird boy.......although i do like shapeshifters, i picked inque because i think she's the best character around, even better than clayface. she's also really hot :D.

i guess it does it gets confusing when you're trying to figure out if someone's a boy or a girl just by their username.

btw, i've seen other "risky" inque art that's way better done..... i'll give ya a link..... email me at inque@toonzone.net for a quicker response.....i can't get to the boards as much.
