This episodes sucks, to put it mildly. Without a doubt the worst episode of any Marvel cartoon series ever. Worse than "Rocket Racer" and "Return of Hydro-Man" combined.
It took me several attempts to actually watch the whole episode, except for the "Flame On" rap song performed by the Human Torch. There is no way on Earth that I am going to sit there and watch that whole song. After a few seconds of it, I had no option but to fast forward to after it. It's just too painful to watch.
Mole Man is incredibly stupid here. Every villain this season just wants to rule the world. No motivation besides gaining power. It gets a little repetitive after awhile. His voice doesn't really help his character much either.
Melinda, Johnny's date who was Ms. Forbes' neice, was the next to worse thing about the episode besides the rap song. She was extremely annoying and why did she have to tag along with the FF anyway? She just got in the way.
Ms. Forbes did make me laugh when she told the Thing that when she heard that Melinda was going to the party with Johnny she didn't know whether to go with her or throw up. That and when Prince Charles denies his relationship with Rosanne Barr.
1/2 *
This episode is terrible without a doubt. I honestly had to stop for a few minutes when I grabbed it for the Fantastic Four. I wish I still had the log of my chat with Bird Boy on AIM when I was working on that page, it would've made a hilarious easter egg (after a lot of language editing, of course. ;) )
A terrible episode, with a hideous rap, which can only be described as a sin against nature!

:ack: *Whump*
(Thing was actually pretty good overall. The writers must've been having an off day.)
