Just want to reminnd everyone who keeps forgetting (Bird Boy I'm looking at you! :p ) there's a new Tick on tonight at 8.30 EST on Fox. Apparently Arthur has a date and he tries to explain dating to The Tick. Sounds like it should be great!

HUZZAH!!! New Tick!!!
I love this show so much. I can't get over it's hillariousness. I even have non-comic people busting a gut watching it. Can't wait til 8:30!

Awesome! This show is the best new show on Fox!! I hope they realize what a treasure they have with this series and continue to treat it right!

Not to worry, Fox has picked the show up for a whole season despite less than superb ratings.

Not only that, BUT N2Toys has released a 4 figure set of action figures based on the show! They SHOULD BE(if you can't find em, dont yell at me) in stores NOW
It includes:
a 7" tall Tick
a 6" tall Arthur(with flapping wing action!)
a 6" tall Batmanuel(with pocket cell phone included!)
and a 5.5" Captian Liberty(of whome's hair is all wrong!)
hehehe. And expect a second wave of figures soon. I haven't heard anything on who might be in it...I'm crossing my fingers for figures of The Red Scare, and...uhm..well.....hmm..what else could be made? The Imortal, with a coffin, removeable armor, and an american flag to wrap around him as a blanket? Or maybe a "Fiery Flame and Friendly Fire" 2 pack. Fiery can come with booze, while Friendly can have a suitcase, & a comb! hahaha...

I've been recording the show, because I know there's probably no chance of seeing it on DVD, and well, my tape ran out a few minutes before the end.
SO
If anyone else tapes this show, and recorded tonight's episode, and could help me get a copy of it, you'd be making me a very happy poster...
And figures?????? YEEEESSSS!!!!!!!!

I wish that they would put Chairhead (if that was his name) form the cartoon series on and have him attempt to burn his name in the moon so they can have that ongoing gag like they did on subsequent episodes after he was first on. (Forever there was "Cha" etched on the moon) I was disappointed that they changed American Maid's name (I thought that that play on words was funny)

Oh my dear lord, that was funny! The title of this one could very well have been "The Tick vs. Sex."

American maid can`t be used because of copyrights...all characters created for the animated series are owned by saban :(
Chairface appeared before the animated series in the comics though,so they can use him eventually

My guess is that MAYBE by the end of the season, Chairface will make an appearence, & engrave the famous "Cha" in the moon. Oh...It'll be a grand day when I can see that "cha" again...*sigh*

I think this was the funniest episode yet.
Good to hear the Tick's coming back for the rest of the season at least. I was actually surprised to hear that.

Chairface is owned by Saban.
Perhaps they can change his name to Sofaface instead.
Sofaface sounds funny when you say it.
Holy sweet justice! Tick gets the full 26 episode season, or will it only be 13? I know only 8 have been made so far........

Would that mean that there would be a big "SO" on the moon?
Hows about the "Evil Captain Futon"? (he would be caved-in in the middle and come from the planet 'Ikea')

--"Stoolhead", but that would elicit some unsavory fecal jokes. Maybe something with a hassock...?

Actually, the show has the rights to any characters who existed in the comics, SO, since Chairface was an original-comic villian, they have rights to use him in the show. Whether or not they will..I dunno...
Because, they do have rights to Ticks pet dog "speak", but they've simply decided not to use him, & maybe substitute another character.

I'm hoping that Chairface will come along. It wouldn't be The Tick without him.
So...where can we get those pics of Captain Liberty, :D?
