I, for some reason, am having a brain fart and can't remember the ep title. It was "something something from the past" or thereabouts. It was actually the first time I'd seen this ep. I really enjoyed it. For some of the scenes, for some reason, it had a very B:TAS feel to it. With Talia coming back, Bruce dealing with his own mortality, Terry's concern about his future as Batman...all very well done and made for a very interesting ep.
I got goose bumps when Bruce had some of his youth restored and he started beating the crap out of Ra's baddies...and then a somewhat techno version of the orginal Batman theme played during the fight scene...totally awesome!
What did others think of this ep?

Out of the Past - Quite possibly one of the best Batman Beyond episodes ever made. And Ra's voice coming from Talia...creepy...

Is there a List of the episodes CN will show of BB and when they will air?

I watched all off BB, but near the End I totally missed out. Im still DYING to see the Episode with Superman. Anyone know the Title of that one, and possibly when it will air?

This is actually my favorite Batman Beyond episode. Paul Dini is a genius. I enjoyed the plot idea, which was smart, disturbing, and original. There was a lot of humor thrown in with lines such as: "You? She kissed me," Bruce telling Ra's he punches like a girl, and the musical at the beginning. The "superstitious cowardly lot" reference was clever. Very well done.

I'm sure you can find a website that lists airdates, because that's exactly what I did when I wanted to see this very episode. It's called "The Call" and is split into two parts.

I started crying when Bruce was looking at his pics of Zatanna, Lois, Selina, and my Babs :( it just made me realize how much I wanted Bruce to finally get settle down with babs or selina. Of course, he would never really settel down ;)

This very site has a CN schedule. Go to http://wf.toonzone.net, click on the logo, then click "Episode Schedules" on the menu. The episode you want to see, The Call should be airing next week, or the week after.

That was a great scene! Seeing his reaction to the pictures. I noticed his eyes get bigger when Lois popped up...I had to laugh at that. The one of him and Barbara...man that was cool. It was definitely a deep look into Bruce and his past, without giving up much. Just his expressions told a good story.
After seeing this ep, it might be my favorite BB ep...definitely in my top 2 or 3.

Just caught the 'Out of the Past' ep last night and I was pleasantly surprised that an episode of BB could actually rival BTAS. That episode just rocked!

Watching it last night made me even more excited about BTAS coming back in January! I was a little disappointed that Bruce didn't try on the cape and cowl again. ;)

As was I. I thought he might do it, I really did (or at least hoped he would).
I think this would have made an awesome 2 or 3 part story. There could have been so many other things in this ep to make it incredible.

Actually the "last" episode will be "Unmasked", although it wasn't planned to be. As I'm sure you've read here - there was supposed to be a 4th season but WB did not renew BB for 13 more episodes.

"Out of the Past" would have made a nice bookend.

Imagine "OOTP" done over a few eps, going deeper into Bruce's mind...maybe even having him put on the suit again and terry fighting for his mantle as Batman, while all the while not liking the whole situation and eventually uncovering the plan. Could have been one of the all time best animated eps of Batman ever (it still was damn good).

Okay, slightly off topic but someone above wanted to know about an episode listing. I just went to CN's site and their BB schedule lists Friday nights at 6:30...and I know that CN doesn't air BB on Fridays.

Anyone know what's going on with that?!?

I think that the reason OOTP was regarded as one of the best BB eps was because of its focus on Bruce. At least, that's why I liked it so much.

I love "Out of the Past." I think it's well-written, well-drawn, and just down right creepy.

This ep really is one of the best.

Ra's came back almost like our good friend Joker did. :) It was a great episode and I loved the techno remix of the original Batman theme. They also did something like that, a rock remix in "Disappearing Inque" of that theme when Bruce was in the armored Batsuit. If that was a bit bigger it would resemble the Bat-robots Bruce commands in Kingdom Come.

Armored batsuit?!? Wow! I think "Disappearing Inque" is airing next week!

This is great...when BB was first on, I relied on WGB out of Chicago for my Kids WB fix since there is no solid WB affiliate where I live. WGB quit airing any sort of nationwide cable programming of WB once there were enough affiliates around the country so I never have seen the majority of the episodes that CN is airing now.

BTW, I loved "Betrayal" on Tuesday night...Dini, Timm and Co. did a great job of bringing back some of the better villians on BB.

Great episode, but i always wondered why they left out a picture of Andrea Beumont from MOTP when he was thinking about all the women in his life.

Maybe it was because she was animated B:TAS style? Weren't all the others TNBA style?

Yeah - that's my theory as well. Or maybe they just...um...forgot? It would have been cool to see, though.

But how tough would it be to update Andrea's look for one shot? Hmmm...I was surprised at Zatanna being there. Rowr!

I would think Andrea would be in there also, after all, he did almost marry her. I think the focus on Bruce, as said before, really helped the episode become one of my favorite BB eps. I think no matter how hard Terry will try, he won't be able to get out of Bruce's shadow ;)

Did anyone notice that Mark Hamill was in the cast as Carter, the 'head butler' of Talia? Even the Joker himself was in on this one!
