What is the reasoning behind having to wait until February when there will be new episodes?
Granted, I'm sure my friend was getting tired of me coming over to watch the JL at his place.

Sweeps, my friend. Ratings month. The wait should be worth it though. The epsiode focuses on Batman, but the Injustice League makes an appearance too! Cool.

For a full rundown of episodes, go to the EPISODE GUIDE section of http://wf.toonzone.net

We still have 19 episodes ahead of us for this season, meaning a helluva lotta stories to go!

Yeah, I noticed that if there are no reruns after the new eps start up again then we'll have new eps through June! Can't beat that, no siree Bob.

I'm assuming they will have at least one more break for reruns so these episode could end up lasting all summer leading into the next season. It would almost be like continuous new episodes witht he occasional rerun break...

Hey, they could stretch out the new episodes looong into next fall... new seasons don't have to start in the fall!

Still, I hope they do...

Yeah, then "In Blackest Night" followed by "The Enemy Below."

From script writing to post production, each half-hour episode takes almost a whole year to make (good thing they can make several episodes at once). I’m sure if “Dick Grayson”, “nothing”, or “Replikon Xum” were to check with their contacts with the WB, I’m sure they will say that the later episodes are not finished yet. Almost every show on television develops and films episodes even after the new season begins, and reruns allow them the time they need to get them done. If we didn’t have reruns, we may be able to see a whole season of episodes on a weekly basis (like NYPD Blue last year), but we’d have to wait even longer for the new season to start (again, like NYPD Blue last year).

To paraphrase Martha: Reruns... they’re a good thing.

Why!!?!?

Why do they always do this? They make a really cool show, they air a handful of episodes. Then they show repeats of those episodes until everyone gets bored and stops watching. Then they point and say, "look, nobody's watching." Then they pull the show.

This pisses me off every time. Why does this happen?!!?!?!?!! Does it make sense to someone somewhere to only show 7 episodes of a brand new show?

Dude...okay, yes, I can see that happening. But JL is CN's highest-rated show right now. Re-runs for a few weeks isn't gonna stop people from watching it. Anyone who watches TV will know that more episodes will come.

I remember, in the time before I found TV schedules on the net for which episode of Batman would be on that night, I would just flip on the TV, and if I hadn't seen the episode yet, I'd watch it. If I had, I'd turn it off.

I think you're right, and I really hope you're right. But I see this all the time with shows I really want to see succeed, shows that would succeed if they were allowed to.

I know you and I, and probably most of the people on this board, will look at the schedule and see if there's a new episode on, but I feel like we're the minority.

I know Cartoon Network is different, they've been really great, so hopefully none of that will happen. Guess I just needed to vent...

I can deal with the whole absence makes the heart grow fonder thing, but still I can relate to how you guys feel. Eh, I've got my tapes and my Secret Origins. I'll be okay until we get a new shipment. :)

I think they should just show In Blackest Night and Enemy Down Below in their hour formats over Samurai Jack then show Samurai Jack repeats in place of JL until we get new eps!

Cartoon Network has changed their schedules for January and have added the "Paradise Lost" two-parter to the schedule for January 21 and 28. For more info, check out the news page.
